I'm 59 going on 18. I saw Peter Pan and believed it. My kids'
friends actually think I'm cool. I have a son 22 (just graduated
UT) and a daughter 20. I love them more than life itself. Both are
extremely erudite and were blessed with good looks to boot. I was
born in and lived in the NJ/NY metro area for 40 something years. I
have been living in Austin, Texas for the past eleven years (was
married to a Texan) and just love it. I've been playing guitar for
45 years and worked for lots of famous 50's and 60's R&B groups
in my younger days. I still practice two hours a day as it is
always a work in progress. I'm a huge fan of Clapton, Jeff Beck,
Hendrix, Sting, The Who (seen them 50 times) and composer arranger
Ennio Morricone. I love all music except today's ridiculously
syrupy, insipid and embarrassing pop country (???) music. Hank
Williams and Johnny Cash please come back. Twenty-five years ago I
got interested in collecting baseball cards and grew it into a nice
business which I am still involved in occasionally on an as-needed
Currently, I buy and sell rare vintage guitars which takes me all
over the world (wanna join me?). I guess one could say I was born
with the "travel gene". I really love Italy and visit a few times a
year. I wouldn't mind living there part of the year if I could make
I know it doesn't appear like I am working hard but I do. Forever
the entrepreneur, I love being in business for myself and really
enjoy the art of the deal. There's nothing like a plan that works.
If I become motivated and decide that I want to accomplish a goal,
get out of the way as I cannot be stopped. I am 6'2", 215 and spend
a lot of time in the gym and walking (usually 2-3 miles a day). I
love golf and shoot in the high 70's when I am playing a lot but
really haven't played more than 3-4 time a year for a number of
years. I am extremely computer literate and am also very handy. I
can fix anything (thank you, You Tube).
I am very generous and spoil those around me. "I may not have
anything but you can always have half" (Chico Marx 1939). My
friends always ask me for advice. Either I know a little bit about
a lot of things or I'm just a good salesman (or both?). But I will
always tell them the truth whether they want to hear it or not. I
am a firm believer in karma. Be careful what you ask for in life.
You just may get it. For me, the glass is always half full or even
You are: Tall, thin, attractive, independent and have a great sense
of humor. The more intelligent and worldly you are, the better. The
brain can be the the sexiest part of a woman. Tempt me!
What I’m doing with my life
I guess you may say I have a pretty easy life. I'm spending more
time than ever composing songs and practicing guitar. I love
working but it doesn't get in the way of enjoying myself either.
I'd love to have a great woman to share some of the great times I
am having and will have in the future. I'm always learning and
trying to improve myself. I also spend as much time with my two
children as possible..They are a never ending source of joy but
they are work and a labor of love.
I’m really good at
Being a dad. Taking care of my Schnauzer "Jack". He's a great dog
and a great buddy. Playing the guitar. Fixing things. Growing
anything. I have the "gardener gene" and love to watch things grow
(especially my kids). I even have an indoor hydroponic garden (haha
Texas sun, you and the aphids will not violate my cucumbers and
tomatoes!) which keeps me busy during the cooler months. I love
making sushi. I spent a couple of years on You Tube picking the
brains of the better chefs. I am also known to make a mean
cheesecake and will share the ultra secret recipe with you if we
get to know each other well enough. I love spoiling those around me
especially the women in my life. Being on time, dependable and
keeping my word are some of my better traits.
The first things people usually notice about me

The six things I could never do without
1. My Kids
4. The Truth
5. My next great adventure
6. My next big deal
7. My uncanny ability to follow instructions.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
World affairs and how our country has fallen to lower lows..Sad.
Songwriting and the bits and pieces of music that constantly float
around inside my head. How to help my kids get from point A to
point B in life. Meeting the right woman...
On a typical Friday night I am
Every night can be Friday night in my world...But I am usually at
home, at a nice restaurant or out playing/listening to live music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty open..Ask me anything and I will tell you personally.
You should message me if
You want to meet a nice guy that even if things didn't work out you
would still want to call me a year later and say hi. Preferably you
are tall, thin and especially, intelligent. I'd rather you be
slightly high maintenance (when necessary) than not. Make me laugh
and expose me to new experiences. Please don't message me if you
lack the self confidence to have posted some clear profile pics of
yourself (what's the point of being on here if you don't have
