I'm an intelligent, fit ( gym 4-5 days a week...fighting the battle against time...), executive, iron chef wannabe, musician, photographer, thrill seeker, and tech geek all in one.

Looking for opportunities to both leave this place better than I found it and to make sure I don't miss all of the wonder there is to be explored and experienced.

I'm a really good cook... love to entertain and try to poison...er feed my friends good stuff..lol. Recipes are suggestions and starting points...never to be slavishly adhered to (well...unless it's AWESOME??)

I'm a guitar player and singer... and I'm pretty good at those things when the mood strikes. When I sing, melodies are good staring spots, mine to change and move as I'm moved by the music. Perhaps I'll find a partner or band to do some gigging with in the coming year?

I've been known to write and bit and can turn a pretty phrase at need.

I'm a Photographer... have done it professionally for 10 years (getting paid for your hobby is a good thing..and I can pick and choose when I want to)

I've rescued Great Danes for the last several years, and My buddy Max is my best pal and protector. We're a package deal...*S*

Hmmm lets see.... books... I love Shakespeare, Hemingway, Keats (at times)... am a Fantasy n SciFi junkie since I was a kid...The Art of Racing in the Rain is a recent favorite as is 13 Bankers. I can often be found digging into some pretty esoteric business/leadership and management books (goes with my career) My taste is pretty far reaching and eclectic to say the least.

Music...I love west coast jazz, acoustic singer songwriters, Rock, Classical, Blue-eyed Soul, Blues, gasp...even Country...well you get the picture... if it's good and makes me smile...then I'll listen and most likely like it.

Movies...I love to be entertained and learn... and confess...I WILL watch a chick flick and even like it... (but I do have admit...I laff like a madman every time I see "Groundhog Day" and Best in Show just makes me laugh my ass off). As you might imagine...I like SciFi and Fantasy flicks that are well done..and LOVE things that go BOOM...(think... Mission Impossible, Bourne, Bond... etc), Princess Bride, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and LoTR are all great favorites as well.

Food...ok...I'm a foodie. Life is just too short to eat bad food or drink crappy wine. I'm no snob...it's not a price thing...it's a taste/flavor thing. The BEST wine is the one that you like to drink..that makes you smile. I do confess to preferring reds to whites, and am on the eternal quest to find great wine for 10 bucks or less...it just makes me happy...LOL.

Live theater and music is always a good thing, and love to go when there's a show in town that has caught my eye.

The journey....life has been full of twists and turns up till now. Most were unanticipated...some good...some bad...you know...the life thing. I want to make sure in the coming years...that I don't miss what the journey has to offer...what there is for me to see, feel, touch and learn in the quest to get to the 'destination'. I spent a lot of my younger years focused on my career...my family and both were important and good to do...however, I missed things that I wish I hadn't as I look back, and I'd like to make sure I am more cognizant of what's going on in the bigger picture of my life.
