Is that enough? Oddly enough they are all true – I'll explain...

I just moved here (in the last few months) and haven't built up a local circle of friends yet. I guess that is the main reason for joining OkCupid – I am looking to get out a little bit more with people that I am not likely to cross paths with. (This takes cake of the first and second points – both true)

Checking out some profiles on here, I have realized that about 2/3 of all profiles seem to imply that they would like to expand their social circles – I'd like to be part of yours... er, maybe. Life happens, I am not sure how much I will use this / how active I'll be on here... but lets give it a shot.

I guess what would be most beneficial to know is that I am someone who has a decade of University education and I value people who - at the vary least - have a desire to expand their knowledge of the world around them.

I think balance is important in life.

I love adventure and travel also. I live for 'the moment' - like having lively debates about everything and nothing while getting awkwardly drunk with a bunch of friends in a turf house in Hólar, Iceland, or running through Venice with one of my best friends during an unexpected thunderstorm and literally diving onto the last vaporetto before the weather causes them to be shutdown for the night. These are the moments that I would choose to recreate everyday.
