TV: I quit a job because of 24 (not because I couldn't watch it, but because my boss wouldn't let me arrest a guy). Arrested Development, South Park is amazing, Always Sunny, Veronica Mars (sounds stupid, but was actually fantastic... and I'm officially going to NYC for the movie premiere!!!), Walking Dead, Wilfred.
Music: I love happy music: Toots the Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, OAR, Boston, CCR, the Fratellis, etc.
Books: I read The Firm when I was in second grade. It took me weeks to get through. Watching the movie took two hours. Since then I have almost always chosen to invest my leisure time with movies rather than books. I know books have so much more detail than the screen can provide, but for me the most important part of narrative art is the story itself. Watching movies just seems a lot more efficient to me. Every now and then someone I trust will recommend a book which I almost always enjoy... before going back to watching movies. Some of the books that have grabbed my attention include: Robert Rodriquez': "Rebel Without a Crew," Bruce Campbell's: "If Chins Could Kill," "God's Middle Finger," and "The Hunger Games" series (yes I know they are a rip-off of Battle Royale, but I still love them).
