I love to laugh and kiss, preferably at the same time because we
can't stop doing either. I'm an incredibly passionate, but also an
incredibly silly person. I'm a hopeless romantic with a little bit
of sarcasam. And I'm a singer while being 100% tone-deaf.
I'm also the luckiest person ever. As my mom will tell you, I once
came home from grade school and declared that I was the luckiest
person ever because I was in gym class and the basketball hit me!
It could have hit anyone, but it hit ME! Seriously. Even just today
I had the luckiest day. I'll spare you the details (for now), but
it makes my life pretty great.
My outlook on life makes it very rich, but this outlook only came
back to me after working through some very difficult situations. I
believe this makes me an optimist with a lot of depth. I'm very
realistic and I take time to reflect and meditate on things that
happen so that I can grow from them. I really believe everything is
a chance to grow and learn. My happiness is rooted deep in my
being- I love myself and I love my life.
That said, I also think it would be wonderful to share it all with
someone. Someone who would hopefully laugh along with me when I
explain how lucky I am because I got 93 cents in change, all in
pennies. Someone who can laugh at the little things, talk about
serious things, and be there for everything. I'd like to be with
someone who is happy in their own skin, driven, smart, funny and
fun-loving, a good communicater, spiritual, adventuresome, sees the
world as our playground (for travelling and for living), and is
open to really being present and hopefully finding the right
person. Other than that, I can't pin it down too much other than to
say it will just come down to a good connection. I am not perfect,
and I don't expect that you be either-- I do hope for the perfect
fit. If this sounds like a possibility to you, please send me a
What I’m doing with my life
I run two businesses I love, and hopefully play a role in making
people's lives better... it's a lot of hard work and dedication,
and it fills me up much more than my old life as a corporate
I’m really good at
A lot of things! Mostly things that I like doing (chicken/egg
question there). A few examples: cooking (though not cleaning, so
know that), running slowly for a long time, parallel parking,
making to-do lists, thinking (this is not always a good thing)... I
feel like I could go on for far too long. Let's just leave the rest
of it for if we meet up and need to fill an awkward silence... (oh,
I'm really good at filling awkward silences... and creating them).
The first things people usually notice about me
Well I'm really tall (5'11") and although it's more auburn I do
have red hair and freckles... so a tall red head usually sticks
out. Especially when I wear heels...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love Toni Morrison, but tend to read mostly self growth and
exploration type stuff-- spirituality, yoga, psychology... And I
love to cook food-- really into cooking curries and sag paneer at
the moment. And once I figure out why my grill isn't working I'll
be back at that!
The six things I could never do without
4. Spiritual Connection
5. Physical Activity (yoga in particular!)
6. Personal Growth/Understanding
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Traveling (and why we have to spell it with one L, when the UK gets
to use two). I love going abroad, especially without much of a plan
(first night hotel room is good, just so I don't have to stand
around doe-eyed in a third world country basically asking to get
kidnapped. I also probably think about getting kidnapped more than
I should...). If you want the list of countries we can do that, if
you'd rather compare notes and inspire me to check out somewhere I
haven't been, even better! There's still a lot of the world to see,
so I am always thinking about my next trip and am always looking
On a typical Friday night I am
Fridays can be tough after a long week and sometimes I teach yoga
in the mornings... so sometimes my fridays are pretty low-key!
Otherwise I'd hit a happy hour, or have dinner with a friend (or
