My self-summary
I'm an old soul with kind of an artsy style. If you can imagine eclectic and different meeting traditional? I'm sort of like the girl next door but with an edge.

I like finding the silver lining, and I tend to play devils advocate. I have also been making an effort to use fewer "I" statements... it hasn't been going well.

This song has been stuck in my head all day:

What I’m doing with my life
I'm in the middle of an MBA program. When I'm not buried in readings or writing reports I'm working on a business plan for a start up.

I also work in the front of house of a cafe/bakery... and try really hard to make time for my family & friends.
I’m really good at
logic problems & trivia, and teasing people. really.. you're going to need to be able to take a joke.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh. it's not unappealing (I hope anyway, yikes..) just unique.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read a lot. Kurt Vonnegut, Oscar Wilde, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and Poe are some favorite authors. to put out some titles though: 100 Years of Solitude, The Shadow of the Wind, The Great Divorce, The Sirens of Titan, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

I have a lot of respect for Timothy Keller too. His books are excellent and I regularly listen to his podcast which I recommend to all people, Christians and non-Christians who are curious about the faith. (For Christmas I got his new devotional that's a year in the Psalms. It was the best gift I've gotten in a long time.)

Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, O, Brother Where Art Thou?, Moonrise Kingdom, The Departed, Trainspotting, The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Modern Family, The Office, 30 Rock, Mad Men, Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, An Idiot Abroad.

For food Thai, Indian, Korean, and Americana comfort food is my favorite.

Like what EVERYONE else says, I like almost all kinds of music. I'll give anything a chance.
The six things I could never do without
my family & friends. yes, that's one thing.
my camera.
Mental Floss Magazine.
something to read with me, always.
Thai food.
National Geographic anything.. the channel, the magazine, the website. I can't get enough.

....Clearly this list isn't serious.
You should message me if
Just do it.

I once read a long time ago that a woman's heart should be so close to God that a man needs to go to Him to find her. If that concept is appealing I think we'll get along pretty well.
