I'm an active, kind, good-natured single man living in NYC enjoying and/or trying to enjoy many of the things this incredible city has to offer.
I'm also an avid cyclist....love riding my bike around the city.
I work out regularly to stay fit and healthy.
I've also been know to do a triathlon, volunteer for NYCares, and drink one too many.

I am a photographer here in NYC, and I also have a small (and by small, I mean just me as the employee) digital capture company.

Honestly, without intending to sound vain or the least bit conceited, everyone always comments on my being handsome. It's unsettling that everyone uses the same adjective to describe me....almost like it's a joke, only I'm not in on it.
That and I have a big nose. I owe it to my part-French ancestry, and my grandfather.

I definitely enjoy reading: The most recent book to have an impact was the Velvet Rage.
Just finished what I think is my favorite book to have ever read is We Need To Talk About Kevin.

Love going to movies and plays....not so much broadway shows - as in show tunes or sing-alongs.

Music is another favorite. I have a wide variety of taste, but a current favorite is the indie-station KCRW out of LA. Love their selections.

I enjoy all types of food....love trying new restaurants and as well revisiting old haunts where "everybody knows my name".

Turns out I can do without a lot of things, but I certainly am grateful for my family and friends.....of which there are more than six.

my next creative outlet/opportunity/observation.
Right now renovating my apartment, so that is keeping me preoccupied with paint, lighting fixtures, knobs, CB2, Room and Board, etc. You get the picture.

Anymore, I seem to be at home on Friday night. So exciting! Date me!

The older I get, the more fear of heights I seem to develop.
I don't know where this is stemming from, but sometimes I get panicked near the edge of a bridge, even when I know I'm completely safe. Weird.

you don't think that Manhattan and Fire Island are the only two "burroughs" of NYC, and you don't use that idiotic 'passport' joke.
I'm looking for a man who enjoys exploring, and can sometimes be out of his element.
I am attracted to confident, a bit rugged, and out-going men, who are comfortable in a dive bar or dinner at French Laundry (not that I've ever been, but in case we were to go).
