I was born in London and according to wikipedia in the same hospital as Daniel Radcliff, Mischa Barton, Helen Mirrren and Sex Pistol Steve Jones. Sadly we never met for reunions to celebrate the close geographical proximity of our births. I lived in Spain, Italy, Canada and the Ivory Coast as a kid, but mostly London from age 7-17, although went to an American school. I have US-UK dual citizenship -- dad is American; mom/mum is English (my parents met in Spain).
My dad's family are Southern (from Georgia) and mom's family from Central London. In the US I've lived in Texas, Georgia and Missouri prior to NYC. In the past year I've visited both Graceland and Hastings (where "The Battle" was fought in 1066) so would say I'm equally in touch with both my American and English heritage.
I like sports, and music. I run a lot. I have a running business. I generally like to explore.. very often with iPod, but company is good (in which case I'm told an iPod a little anti-social). Growing up I loved playing basketball, soccer, rugby, running, etc. so still enjoy playing. And watching too: college football games, track & field, going to a baseball game. Its been a few years, but I could dunk a basketball once upon a time, although it was a fleeting ability that sadly passed. I do bikram yoga now and again..it allows me to touch my toes and contort myself in weird ways, and I also like boxing (the workout at least- I haven't actually sparred with anyone). I've run the last eight nyc marathons and a few ultras. Kenny Powers would mock me for trying to be the best at exercising.
I think of myself as someone with fairly strong opinions, but always try to be open minded. I strive to be kind and also to be authentic and appreciate that in others. I can be competitive, but love being part of a team and working with others.
