My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Like you, I'm at that interesting time in my life where GoT binges are better shared with someone else. I'm very independent and have worked hard for the career I've shaped for myself. I'm a dual US and UK citizen, double UVa grad, and ex-World Banker. My work takes me out of the country often, so bonus points if you're keen to join me in random places around the globe.

I've got a great circle of friends and family in the area who are extremely important to me, especially now that I'm a uncle! I like to escape to the river, ocean, and woods whenever possible. I live a fairly active lifestyle and enjoy trail running, playing tennis and squash, windsurfing and surfing, rock climbing, yoga, and SUPing. I also occasionally teach sailing on the Potomac out of my local marina.

I'm looking for someone who shares a sense of adventure, gets restless when stuck inside, is socially awesome yet awkward enough to not take themselves too seriously, but also wants to commit to meaningful relationship.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read a lot. I've yet to find a book I like more than Shantaram. Other favorites include Ender's Game, Desert Solitaire, and The Sun Also Rises. I recently finished The Art of Fielding and highly recommend it.

Music: I'm all over the place here. I like country but also listen to a lot of other random stuff like Mike Doughty, Explosions in the Sky, Maserati, Mumford, The Band, Jimmy Buffet and tons more. I'm also a recovering hippie and still love the Grateful Dead, String cheese, Pgrove, and Panic. Oh, and anything by Rhianna.

TV/Movies: I don't watch much TV, but will happily watch the UK versions of Planet Earth and Top Gear. I'm also hooked on House of Cards and Game of Thrones. Favorite movies include Forrest Gump and Point Break.
