I'm a San Diego native, lucky enough to have grown up and live in this gorgeous city... Just the fact that I'm living about a block away from the bay makes me smile almost everyday.. Don't want to ever take that for granted. A music/concert junkie who loves blasting classic rock while driving down the freeway.. sometimes people give me funny looks. Realized the other day that there are certain songs that I just cannot listen to without the volume cranked while singing every word... If you're lucky I might confess what songs those are.
I wish I could be a perpetual student, and make a career out of it... Anyone come across such a thing? I find it so much more fulfilling to gain some sort of knowledge everyday then do the same thing over and over..

Cliche answer, but I'm living life as it comes. There's power in saying I don't have it figured out yet, right? Who really does in their mid-twenties.. and in this economy, I don't know what I want to do work-wise for the rest of my life. I know the future holds a lot, but I'm not in such a rush to get there. Not to say I'm not ambitious.. I have degrees in both History and in Journalism and may attempt to pursue my teaching credential in the future.
For the time being I'm working in higher education and enjoying each day I can have fun and make a steady income.
In a perfect world, let's just say my dream job could be described as Indiana Jones meets a National Geographic photojournalist meets the host of a History channel show... ha! and then become a teacher.
I'm not a believer in having one career for the rest of life.. Rather would like to try a bunch of things and see where it takes me. "Go make a life and not a living"

I like to have random intelligent conversations, sometimes drunkenly.. what's wrong with a good debate every now and then. Once I spent probably a half hour discussing the Vietnam War with some random guys at the bar, while dressed as a Jersey Shore d-bag for a pub crawl... Yeah, that's me. Haha.
Also, I'm pretty crafty.. Known for my creative Halloween costumes. I was a jellyfish this past Halloween... With lights and everything =) Friends have told me I should make costumes for people as a business, which is both flattering, and probably a great idea! And while I'm still learning on a sewing machine, the hot glue gun definitely does the trick!
I make bomb homemade pizza.. and enchiladas, stuffed mushrooms, cheese fondue..
Oh, and I can do the splits.. haha

my height.. Yes, I'm a bit short, but I wouldn't have it any other way.. It's just me =) And I'm definitely known for having the sass to make up for it.. 'small but mighty' fits.
Sometimes I can be a bit reserved, but once I open up, which is usually pretty fast, I'm pretty silly and can be spontaneous and outgoing.

I like my books and movies intense and insightful.. war novels, any non-fiction books about history, autobiographies (Eric Clapton's is amazing). 'Weird' movies or scary movies are some of my favorites.. and who can pass up a good drug movie.

Music could be the meaning of life.. I absolutely love music, in most forms, genres, from all decades. Too many faves to list but genre-wise I LOVE classic rock.. alternative-bluesy rock, country, acoustic singer-songwriters, indie rock, and sometimes rap and hip-hop.
Love, love, love going to concerts.. been to so many, It's kind of my thing =)

Depends how the work week has treated me.. but either out and about town with friends or getting cozy on the couch in pajamas when it has been a long crazy week.. Sleeping in on saturday morning is so frickin amazing.

I listen to Dan Carlin 'hardcore history' or Bill Maher podcasts at night before I go to bed.. I was also obsessed with the 'WWII in HD' and 'Vietnam in HD' specials on the History channel... Really wish they showed more of that sort of thing, instead of 5 hour marathons of stupid 'Pawn Stars' every night...
