My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Adam. Here are a few things you should know about me:

The basics:
Grew up in Waterford, spent a few years in Frankenmuth, and now live in Farmington Hills.
Graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in information assurance.
Working full time as a network security consultant.

Making people laugh and smile
Music/concerts/live shows (mostly rock/punk/edm/stand up comedy, but I'm open to checking out new things)
Netflix/going out to movies
Cooking/going out to eat, involving just about any and every type of food (fat kid trapped in a skinny kid's body)
Cats (and dogs/other animals, but I have two kitties myself)
Being just about anywhere that isn't MI (especially somewhere warm, with a beach)
Travelling in general, but happen to go on a lot of road trips to Chicago, Ohio, Pittsburgh, etc (have friends all over the place)
Football #OnePride
And much more, but we can cover that later.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a network security consultant. Long story short, I'm a professional hacker. I hack into banks and other organizations, so that they can learn how to better defend themselves against real world hackers.

tl;dr I'm a nerd.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm hesitant to fill out this section because I don't want to sound conceited or full of myself. That being said, I'm really good at anything I put my mind to (oh, the irony).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My glasses - if I had a nickel for every time I'm compared to Clark Kent, I'd have a shitload of nickels (bonus points if you get this reference).

Sept 2014 Update - Well, it used to be my glasses... but now that I no longer have them, I'm not so sure. You tell me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

In no particular order:

Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House, Fringe, Law and Order SVU, Family Guy, Simpsons, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, South Park, Beavis and Butthead, Entourage, Scrubs, Daily Show / Colbert Report (they go hand in hand, and I watch them both religiously)

The Departed, Goodfellas, Rear Window, Memento, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, BASEketball, Grandma's Boy, There's Something About Mary, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, A Night at the Roxbury, The Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Animal House, Space Balls, etc. Too many to realistically list, but these are a few favorites.

Flogging Molly, The Ataris, Taking Back Sunday, Our Lady Peace, Rufio, Yellowcard, Jimmy Eat World, The Starting Line, Jack's Mannequin, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Craig Owens, Blink-182, Two Door Cinema Club, Feed Me, deadmau5, Skrillex, Kaskade, Avicii, Porter Robinson, Knife Party, Zedd, Krewella, Morgan Page, BT, etc. Similarly with movies, the list goes on.

Thai, Chinese, Japanese (pretty much anything asian), Mexican, Italian, etc. There are few things I genuinely dislike, and I'm always open to trying new things. I also make a pretty kick ass breakfast.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Modern technology/the Internet - my line of work wouldn't exist without it
2) Music/movies/other forms of entertainment
3) Comfort food

...I'll think of more of these later. I could list the typical food/water/shelter/family/friends, but aren't those a given?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Food is always on my mind. Old favorites and wanting to try new things.

What/where my next show/trip will be.

Global warming, American/world culture, politics, international conflicts, religion and its effects on society, the universe, and many other aspects of life I have no control over.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hitting up a show in Detroit, getting together with friends for drinks, or taking it easy at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
These pretzels are making me thirsty.
