Some of my other interests include: Hiking, camping, exploring, photography, cooking, rock concerts, listening to music, reading, and (though I've fallen out of practice) playing guitar.
I absolutely love going to rock shows, and try to make it to at least one a year. This year I'm planning to go see Motley Crüe and Alice Cooper. Bonus cool points will be awarded if you can name the lead singer of Rainbow!
I'm finally finding more time for reading again. I've yet to meet a Michael Crichton novel I didn't like, and practically grew up on Stephen King (and of course the Harry Potter books are classics). I've been working my way through A Song of Ice and Fire, but have been poking in a few other novels in between each. My on deck list: "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk, "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie, and "A Walk In The Woods" by Bill Bryson. Message me if you have any suggestions!
I could list TV shows for ages, but to keep it short: Doctor Who, Firefly, Arrested Development, Sherlock, and Battlestar Galactica sum it up well.
For movies - If it's funny or a western, I'll love it. Some of my all time favorites though are Duck Soup, Monkey Business, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and anything by Sergio Leone.
I'm also a big fan of podcasts, including Stuff You Missed In History Class, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, The Thrilling Adventure Hour and The Bugle.
