Hi there. My name is Ray. I am 25, working two jobs, and going to grad school. I like to dance, work out, and be active both in and out of the classroom (I teach). I spend the rest of my free time outside, with my dog Shadow, and spending quality time with friends. You will seldom find me in front of a TV (Unless it's a Baltimore Ravens game). BTW-- If you are a Raven's fan.. we will click very well!

Currently, I am a teacher in Baltimore City, but I am not from Baltimore. I grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, so my southern personality comes out at times. I am warm and welcoming. Back in Arkansas, everyone knew everyone, and we hugged instead of shaking hands. If you grew up in Maryland, this is impossible for you to imagine. Southern hospitality is a magical thing.

I enjoy meaningful conversations with intelligent people. Stupid people annoy me. Impolite people annoy me as well. If someone says hi, the rule is to say hi back. No exceptions (Okay, unless they are missing teeth and/or they are chewing tobacco..).

Going to Loyola University for my graduate degree as a Reading Specialist.

Rec Sports are nice in the summer!! (Volleyball)

I also coach sports at a local gym!! Practically volunteering.. but it is a good time!!

Planning on getting my second graduate degree before I turn 35.

Sports, cooking, dancing, standing out in a crowd, working with students, teaching, dog training, volleyball, and offering sincere advices.

I am also really good at being on time.

I am also really good at replying back to emails/messages! It actually gets on my nerves a little when people wait four days to reply ;)

I like to read non-fiction. These include cooking, DIY books. I also enjoy reading any book about dogs and dog training. I watch the Dog Whisperer religiously (on DVD). I read all of Ceasar's books.

I haven't seen many great movies recently, but I do love the shows The Unit, Dexter, Hustle, and 24.

On most days, I prefer cooking at home instead of going out to eat. High sodium/MSG isn't my thing. I worked at a gym, therefore a healthy living style is very important to me.

How/why do people in government agencies sit and drink coffee all day and get paid more/equal to the rest of us?

Why we are often taxed without representation.

Why the best looking people are always 30+ minutes from me?

Why we need a piece of paper to say that we are qualified? Shouldn't our actions be enough?

Out dancing, watching a movie, or getting together with friends.

I have a soft spot for black dogs. They are the least likely dogs to be adopted and rescued..

If you have room in your heart/living space, go to a local shelter and adopt a black dog TODAY! :)
