Hey! I'm Amanda. I am a pretty easy going, genuine and happy go
lucky girl. I am so blessed with the family and friends that I have
and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I work
really hard at my job and I absolutely love it!
I love tea, dancing, the Twins, flip flops, traveling, living in
St. Paul, my friends and family (especially my niece and nephews),
running, laffy taffy jokes, movies, theater of any kind, being
sarcastic, Jameson and Ginger ales, live music and nice
When I asked my friend what I should put on my profile she said
"put that you are the nicest person ever!" in case that helps ;)
What I’m doing with my life
I am a mental health therapist at two elementary schools. I
absolutely love my job and the kids that I get to work with!
Outside of work I also teach and dance at a studio that I have
danced at forever. I do tap, jazz and ballet with some of the
greatest people in the world!
I’m really good at
Making people feel at ease and being supportive.
The first things people usually notice about me
I would say my smile, I have been told by multiple photographers
that I smile too big!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Harry Potter, The Giver, Crime and Punishment, To Kill a Mockingbird
Movies: Almost Famous, Beauty and the Beast, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Dirty Dancing, The Princess Bride
Shows: Parenthood, How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Rec
Music: Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows, Snow Patrol, Needtobreathe, The Offspring, but I will pretty much listen to anything
The six things I could never do without
1. My family and friends
4. Singing loudly in my car
5. Making my nephew laugh at my fantasticly corny jokes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How lucky I am!
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the week, it varies between lounging at home with my
fantastic roommates, eating dinner with my family, out at a local
bar, or just hanging out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a 3 inch scar on my right knee from falling into the canal
in Venice, Italy last summer. Yes! I am the dumb American girl who
fell in the canal :)
You should message me if
You are a kind person with a good sense of humor.
