I'm a care-giver by nature, a calm voice on the phone, and a trusted and loyal friend. I'm loved by family and friends, and I love them all right back!

My sons are the most important people in my life. My oldest died tragically in a car accident this year. I'm broken in that respect, but I'm a true survivor, and I keep moving forward with my two guys.

What I’m doing with my life

I am almost a nurse...will graduate March 2010. Nothing says mid-life crisis or middle aged woman like a divorce and a career change!

talking to people and calming them down. I seem to have a good voice for that. I'm awesome at music trivia!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I enjoy almost every kind of music: Rock, pop, country, jazz, blue grass, christian rock, heavy metal. I'm especially a fan of the 80's hair bands.

I love anything written by Stephen King and his sons, Joe Hill and Owen King.

I love horror and Sci-Fi books and movies. I liked (all) Star Trek, Star Wars (all), The Matrix (#1 & #3, #2 sucked), Lord of the Ring (all 3), Independence Day, and Up. I am a woman so naturally I like Steel Magnolias, Sweet Home Alabama, A Walk to Remember, Under the Tuscan Sun, and The Notebook.

I love Mexican and Italian foods and I can cook them as well.

I adore the Big Bang Theory and 2 1/2 men on CBS! I'm also a follower of Lost and Law & Order: SVU.

The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about

going from LPN school to working and then RN school. Making sure my boys grow to be fine men.

On a typical Friday night I am

studying or doing homework. If I'm not studying than I'm finding some way to celebrate the fact that I'm not studying!
