My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a hardworking, loyal, brutally honest (this is important), educated, quick witted with a silver tongue, grown up punk/hardcore kid with as much to say and prove as I did when I was 15 or so, and I'm not terrible to look at, I dont think.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
working, and working at getting a second job/better job. doing stand up 2 nights a week in town, working out, getting things to where I want them to be..yeah that sounds good.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
figuring people out, being able to help others out, working hard and so on. I'm good at things, yeah, there we go, I'm good at things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my face, ESPECIALLY when I'm clean shaven, I look all of 19 or so haha (see the pics w/ no facial hair versus having facial hair), I guess I have some good genes, then its my eyes which I've been told are very expressive and my expressive smile (again, so I've been told). if its hot out and I'm wearing shorts, my heavily tattooed legs/chest...non-physical things would be my voice, how I present myself and speak to others, and that I still open doors for the elderly.

OR my voice, I just thought of this but my voice, it carries and for whatever reason over the years, its a thing thats noticeable, or maybe just to me it is.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

books, I like them and I guess I'll make some bit of a list. gravity's rainbow is as important to me as american psycho. I love post-modern sociology, really just sociology, hunter s thompson (generation of swine is just super close to being better than fear and loathing but isnt), tolkien, palanhiuk, warren ellis, brett easton ellis, jung (the red book specifically), occult literature (not twilight, more like magick, or documents about various occults), most things having to do with punk/hardcore (zines, and glen e. friedmans fuck you heroes and fuck you too picture books), thats a pretty good start I guess.

music - raised on jazz and classical, so I love and appreciate it more than most, I also still listen to hardcore, punk, post_________, good hip hop (not rap, there is a difference), johnny cash..really just good music in general, and yeah I'm a music snob and record collector. BUT if you want some examples here we go:

-punk/hardcore - dead kennedys, hatebreed, integrity, american nightmare, blacklisted, converge, masakari, terror, rot in hell, gehenna, indecision, most precious blood, most 90s hardcore really, mephiskapheles, link 80, spring heeled jack, envy, bad religion, glassjaw and so so much more. oh, and anything my label puts out..yes you read that right.

- hip hop/rap - aesop rock, el-p, immortal technique, j dilla, killer mike, tribe called quest, the pharcyde, nwa, bone thugs, wu-tang. its a pretty short list

- OTHER - Cold Cave, zola jesus, florence and the machine, MONO, portishead, explosions in the sky, this will destroy you, the cancer conspiracy, most classical (love brahms and bach the most), and some jazz. I do love certain 80s songs/bands mostly since I lived through them and its not in an ironic way..I like some dance music (think squeeze, not dub step), a bit of reggae (but more towards ska if anything), and a few other odds and ends

Shows - live bands right? ok, ok, like TV then. ummm, Wilfred, community, workaholics, really just comedy shows, and cop shows, burn notice, pretty little liars, veronica mars (I'm a serious sucker for a long running whodunnit), ARCHER, almost anything spy related, walking dead, breaking bad, and well written stuff like dexter, homeland, game of thrones, etc

food - most things I'll try once..but just ask, since I can be a picky eater...if its a weird texture, I probably wont eat it. quick example, I love fresh leaf spinach, once you boil/cook it, not gonna happen, just bleh.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- all the things my dad taught me over the years, sage vvisdom if you will
- my music collection
- my experiences in life, since they shaped who I am and a lot of what I do
- my extended family of friends, artists, etc.
- my phone, remember when we didnt need these things?
- my mind, we all have those days when the think we lose them (or do), but I couldnt do anything w/o it
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
where I am and where I want to be, how to get there, and who I want with me before I get there, when I get there, and long after.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
either working (luck of the draw here and there), hanging out with friends, working on my stand up comedy (comedy isnt easy believe it or not hehe), maybe reading, seeing a band play, performing if possible, reading, there are options thankfully now that I live in a bigger city than before.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an emotion after all.

you want something better, a tad differnet, but better...I'm a gentleman after all...oh AND you're unique, I like unique and alluring as well.
