I am a certified nurses aide, and have often thought of becoming a medication aide or LVP (LPN). It's not a passion of mine, but it's a good life. My mother is an LVN and I have been a Certified Nurses Aide for 5 years. I work nights at a nursing home so my life is a little backwards, but I try to make it work.
I genuinely enjoy school and have thought about getting a masters in library and information systems. My sister and other people are frequently amazed by the amount of things I know and the varied topics I know about. I may not have a huge amount of knowledge on a given subject, but I usually have enough to answer basic questions and give advice on where to find more information. I enjoy helping others.
I'm Wiccan and very devoted to my faith even though I don't practice often. It's not vital that my friends/partner be Wiccan, though it is nice, but they have to at least be tolerant. I try to be as tolerant as I can of other religions. I find it very interesting to learn about new people and cultures. I've wanted to join a coven for some time or at least find someone else to practice with, but it's not vital for me. I'm semi-open to my family about my religion, and any questions anyone asks me I will answer to the best of my ability. For any Wiccans out there there is one thing that I can't stand. That thing is what I call False History. It's when you claim that Wicca is an ancient religion. It's not. It was popularized by Gerald Gardner in 1954. If someone could show me a single iota of evidence to the contrary I would be inclined to believe otherwise, but the evidence simply doesn't exist to my knowledge.
I like to think of myself as a very funny person, and I think most people who know me would agree. My sense of humor tends to the macabre or to sexual jokes, but I like to use all kinds of comedy. Oddly I don't really like comedies. Some high-brow comedies I truly enjoy, but it's not very often. I usually go for dramas or action movies.
I read a lot of books and they are very important to me. I find them a great way to learn things and to escape from my life for a little while.
I am grounded, intelligent, and friendly.
