My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmm, what to say about me? I'm clever, I have a great (odd) sense of humor that sometimes pops up in "less than opportune" moments, but over all I receive more compliments than complaints. I'm a lover of life and good times, I try not to over think things. I do have a plan, to be sure, but for now a little more adventure in my life would be quite welcome. I LOVE to read! I like to go out and walk at odd hours, I have a tendency to walk through doors marked "Do Not Enter." I'm trying to workout every day for the purposes of feeling good and to allow myself to enjoy steak when I want to. I can take a joke and role with the punches but I try to never overstep bounds, (unless it's called for lol). I guess My ideal day involves craft beers, swanky clothes and close friends. I don't know what else to really say about me.... Just ask, I guess! :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spend my days wandering a veritable maze of old books and I get paid to do it :) (I'm a used bookstore clerk). Hope to be finishing up a degree in engineering soon once I have saved up some money.
If I can ever get around to it I'll find myself a kit, grab my sticks and start drumming again. But who knows when/if that'll happen. I work out frequently but I am by no means a fitness freak, I simply realized that I feel much better being healthy. I love playing D&D with my friends and board game nights are amazingly fun (especially with the amount of alcohol involved). Other than that I'm going out or staying in, as long as I can find good company to do it with. I tend to come up with fun (some might say odd) activities to do around town. But I also have days where curling up on the couch, reading and generally being really nerdy sound quite fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking, drinking, smoking (perfect rings of course) laughing, reading, sarcasm, hugging and general celebration of life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
At first I come off a little: "larger than life." My personality tends to stick out a bit, but it's really a way for me to learn about the people around me. I'm talkative and not afraid to back down from a conversation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: (Disclaimer: I work in a bookstore so this is a horribly chopped down list that I only made because I felt I should put something down. Trust me, this list is VERY long).First and foremost, my bible: Ready Player One. The Count of Monte Cristo, 1984, The Dresden Files, The Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, The Illustrated Man (really anything by Ray Bradbury), From Earth to the Moon, Treasure Island, The Dark Tower Series.

Movies: Lawrence of Arabia, Army of Darkness, Alien, Cool Hand Luke, The Big Lebowski, The Hudson Hawk, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog and (most) Kevin Smith movies. Plus a whole crap load of old sci-fi from the 50's and 60's and schlock sci-fi of the 70's and 80's.

T.V. Shows: Boston Legal, Star Trek (all), 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, The I.T. Crowd, Doctor Who, Community, Eureka, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Top Gear, Boardwalk Empire.

Music: Gorrilaz, AC/DC, Queen, The Beards, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Louis Armstrong, Reggie Watts.

Food: Thai Food, Pizza (pepperoni and extra cheese), Steak, sushi, Bar-B-Q and burgers (I make a damn good burger.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My friends, they are pretty much my life.
2. Books, they give me peace in my off hours.
3. Scotch, what can I say, I enjoy a good drink.
4. Pipe Tobacco. Teamed with #3, a perfect evening can be had.
5. Movies, I love going to the movies.
6. Conversation, whether political debate, book discussion or just a nice chat about life, I love to talk.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, love, my studies, the stars, traveling, and really nerdy queries like: "Why doesn't Superman wear lead armor?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends, having a small get-together or house party. Probably playing board games. Keeping it low key and fun. Either that or out at a pub.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

you are interesting. You should message me if you like to converse, are intelligent and can both handle and give back witty banter. Message me if you are sure, confident and strong in self. I suppose I shall sum it up in a phrase: "Message me, if you dare." :)
