I'm a fairly ambitious person, but not for money, nor for power or fame, but to simply do something useful with my life, hence the PhD. I also enjoy learning new things and have always wanted to be able to speak a foreign language and play an instrument so recently I've been trying to learn Japanese and how to play the guitar, although I'm not very good at either just yet!

I love listening to music, and seem to spend a large portion of my day doing so. Typically rock/metal/'emo' however, as with everyone, there are always exceptions that I like in pretty much every genre.

I am currently studying for a PhD which combines both chemistry techniques and computational algorithms for biological applications....yeah.
