It's kind of hard to sum up who I am in a nice little list; but
here's my best shot, in no particular order:
-I'm working on a PhD in immunology and I'm doing my best to keep
science from consuming my life. Some days I'm more successful than
-I have a pretty sarcastic and kind of dark sense of humor.
Probably the most important thing I'm looking for is someone who
can make me laugh.
-I LOVE doing anything outdoors. Camping, going to the beach,
hiking or even just walking around the city on a nice day; all of
them are awesome (though I don't get to do these as often as I
would like to).
-I'm always looking for a new adventure to keep life interesting.
It can be as simple as trying a random new restaurant or it can be
something like paintball.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a few months away from having a PhD in Immunology. It's not
glamorous, but I'm getting paid to do something I love; plus I can
show up to work in sweatpants at whatever time I feel like in the
morning. That's pretty tough to beat.
I’m really good at
I kick ass at scrabble. I can run pretty far kind of fast. I like to get creative in the kitchen and it only sometimes turns out awful. And as of this year, fantasy football. Why didn't I know how fun this was before?! I'm pretty excited about starting up again this year. And if you want an overly heated but well researched opinion of why CJ Anderson is overrated, than I'm your woman.
The first things people usually notice about me
How the hell should I know? This is a stupid question.
"Hi, nice to meet you. Tell me, what did you notice about me just
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Wire, or Dexter. Yes, I am aware that they are good shows and that
I need to watch one of these days. They're on my list.
Music: Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Mumford and Sons, Of
Monsters and Men, alt J, Twenty One Pilots
Food: I could eat Mexican food for every meal and not get tired of
it. Also, anything spicy.
The six things I could never do without
3. Good food
4. An intellectual challenge
6. The outdoors
I spend a lot of time thinking about
T cells and various other science related things, unfortunately.
Sometimes I just need to go for a long run or watch something
stupid on cable for a few hours to get it out of my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
At happy hour at a nearby bar or unwinding at home with a craft
beer or two. My favorite nights are spent hanging around a table
with a bunch friends and a bunch of beers just talking about
whatever comes up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My younger brother found my profile on here. Apparently we're a
match. Thanks for that OKcupid.
