Having entered my personal "sensational 60s", I'm much more comfortable with myself than I was at one time. For those ladies who are very particular, I'm not 5'10". I don't have black, wavy hair. I'm not rich nor do I have homes at various spots around the world. To steal a song title from Joe Walsh, I'm an "Ordinary Average Guy" who spent some three decades in the music business and is a writer/editor who writes about music and pop culture. I'm looking for a down-to-earth lady who's in the general neighborhood of my age, is free-spirited, is relatively baggage-free, and is looking for good conversation, good times, and mature affection, romance, and intimacy.

I'm an old-school romantic who is a world-class listener, loves animals, good conversation, honest, open communication, and laughter.

I'm currently retired after better than three decades in the music business and am also a writer currently working on a book and other assignments.

My iPod has some 17,000 songs-everything from Sinatra to The Beatles to The Dixie Chicks and Green Day. My reading habits tend toward historical non-fiction and political or pop culture biographies and ereaders and iPad apps for them are among the best inventions ever. My favorite movies are oldies but goodies like "Casablanca", "Yankee Doodle Dandy", and, yes, "A Hard Day's Night."
And the world's most perfect food is pizza.

Music, good conversation, baseball, change of seasons (though I wouldn't mind living in Hawaii for a spell), coffee, and pizza!
