I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago and as a result have an intense desire to travel. I'm a big reader, I love going to baseball games though I don't care for rivalries, and I am still figuring my life out...further updates as events warrant.

After graduating college I moved to Colorado for a year to be a ski bum with no regrets. After Colorado I moved back to Chicago to do comedy and hold down a somewhat steady day job.

People watching, movie watching, bird watching, watch watching, getting places on time, talking myself out of things, deciding not to listen to myself and do those things anyways, contradicting myself and I can still play the piano a little.

Sometimes I'm shy or quiet at first but I can usually find common ground with anyone and tend to open up quickly.

Avid Kurt Vonnegut fan, currently reading a lot of Christopher Hitchens, and not ashamed to admit I loved The Fountainhead. Favorite of all time is Catch-22. As far as movies, I love Quentin Tarantino and obscure "cult" classics whatever that means. I was raised on classic rock but after growing up playing piano, guitar, saxophone and clarinet (all of which I have subsequently quit) I have learned to appreciate classical and Baroque music as well as a jazz, blues and funk fanatic. Food - I will eat anything. Scratch that I will try anything.

Pen, paper, books, baseball, comedy, friends.

the future, specifically mine (reference: The Fountainhead, above) but also space travel, foxes, alternate universes, riding the bus, why people don't wipe their nose more often in winter, why some people on the bus look like they might eat me, how they would eat me, what wine they would eat me with, and mountains.

Goofing around, or performing. Which is basically just goofing around.

I was born without fingernails or toenails. They have since grown in.

You enjoy talking, especially while people watching - especially in coffee shops, don't take life in heavy doses, enjoy reading, movies and can laugh at yourself as well as others.
