My self-summary
I've lived in Albuquerque for most of my life. Recently graduated from college and currently trying to start my career. I enjoy working out and mountain biking. I consider myself somewhat of a movie buff and I will watch just about anything if it looks interesting. I love reading about anything non fiction, particularly sociology and philosophy, and anything related to computers or technology. My most unique interest I think would be a passion for anime, manga, and graphic novels, which has turned into an interest for reading/learning about any kind of visual storytelling. (I think that a graphic novel can be just as literary as those of the traditional variety) However, I love learning about new things I haven't heard of as well, because otherwise life would become redundant.

Above all I value connections. My family and friends are very important to me and I would do anything for them. I believe that without strong relationships we cannot truly be happy.

I mostly look for people who share interests with me but overall I would like to meet someone who has a balanced personality. Someone who is laid back and enjoys having fun, yet also values intelligence and talking about things that matter. I'm somewhat quiet and shy at first, but I become talkative very quickly around friendly and sociable people.
What I’m doing with my life
Still trying to figure that out at the moment. I'm currently looking for a job in my professional field, but I'm also exploring other interests and passions. I strongly believe that it is limiting to search for a career/path based solely off of our skill sets. It sounds very cliche, but I'm searching for the thing that makes me excited to wake up every morning and prevents Mondays from feeling like Mondays (If that makes any sense.) However, I recently decided to go back to school part time to figure out if I would be interested in getting a masters degree.

While doing this I have been spending my time trying to expand my horizons. I have adopted a very healthy diet and exercise 5-6 times a week. I spend as much time as possible reading/learning about anything that interests me. I believe that self education, rather than academic (mandatory) education is what truly defines a person.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
mainly my future. I often get caught up thinking about the "logical and rational" paths I could choose, but what really keeps me awake at night is considering all the "what ifs" that could potentially be life changing. I know this is kind of nebulous, but perhaps someone will understand....

Human nature/psychology in general is something I can never stop thinking about. Stuff like this well known Chuck Palahniuk quote: “People don’t want their lives fixed. Nobody wants their problems solved. Their dramas. Their distractions. Their stories resolved. Their messes cleaned up. Because what would they have left? Just the big scary unknown.” Always makes me wonder...
On a typical Friday night I am
Either hanging out with friends doing random stuff or relaxing at home watching a movie or playing video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't really like to post private things, so if you'd like to know anything just ask. I'm really open to talking about anything, I just want to get to know someone a little before getting too personal.
