My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pretty thoughtful guy who likes to laugh a lot. My face is usually buried in a book, but I'd be just as happy to spend the afternoon in the kitchen. I'm never more content that at dinner with the people I love, and good conversation can always carry the day. That said, I love quiet nights at home. I ride the line between introvert and extrovert, and a little bit of both keeps me content.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm knocking around, figuring out what adulthood is all about. I'm at the office quite a bit, but I'm intentional about spending as much time with friends and family as I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving. I'm really good at figuring out how to navigate a thorny patch. I'm also convinced that a really good conversation is the best way to spend an evening. I love that exchange, and I'm good at it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty quiet at first, but that usually doesn't last.

It's weird to type this, but also my hair.

2. Steel Magnolias (yes...I can quote it too.)
3. Clue
4. Dead Poets Society

old school country (Johnny Cash, Dolly, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, the list goes on....), The Magnetic Fields, Daft Punk, Mika; Old Crow Medicine Show, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Fun, Mumford and Sons, Rufus Wainwright, The National, The Avett Brothers, Iron and Wine, Scissor Sisters, The Pet Shop Boys, The Postal Service, Elsa Lanchester (if you haven't heard must), Iris DeMent, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf, and terrible top 40.

Food is the best. I dream about Italian food, but my friend's mother's tamales feed the soul. Sunday dinners with friends is the height of contentment, and a good burger can make your night. A little bourbon at the end of the evening can really make your night.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. my dog
2. my tooth brush (good oral hygiene is key)
3. books. Lots of books.
4. Ok...magazines too.
5. a bit of faith. (It helps.)
6. someone to laugh with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In a perfect world, having dinner with friends. If the week has been less than perfect, then I'm plumbing the depths of Netflix.
