My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just FYI, I practice ethical non-monogamy. I do not cheat, nor will I help you cheat.

(Also, PAX PASSES ACQUIRED!)

On that note, I am seeing someone who I consider my primary, though it is an LDR, sadly. She is, however, all kinds of awesome, so what's a boi to do (except find pretty girls to lure her up here with)?
(kidding! Though she is bisexual)
(I think a job would be better incentive...jobs are nice)
(I like parenthetical. Get used to it.)

We could do a lot worse than following the example of Morticia And Gomez

(ok, seriously, I'm making some good food these days!! My yellow thai curry over cauliflower rice was really good)
(also, I totally miss the blogs here...)
(honestly, I have to rewrite this entire thing soon...its completely insulting to my aesthetics)

(Also, I could use more friends, so if you think we could geek out together, I would love that too)

Let's see...
I'm a geek, personally and professionally, and a writer (though you'd never know it from this profile...how I hate filling these kinds of things out). I'm smart, funny, adorable.
If you are looking for a super manly-man, I'm not your boy. If you want someone who can make you laugh and make you blush, then maybe we're a match.
I'm a proud liberal and progressive, a proud feminist (and if you are a woman on OKCupid and say you aren't a feminist, you don't know what the word means), and a proud atheist and learning about being poly.
I'm not outdoorsy, but I think I would like to be. I've been taking morning walks before work, and while I am still concerned that nature is out to get me, I think we might be reaching a detente.
(I'm also somewhat kinky, here's my fetlife profile)

(also, I swear to god, I'm much more interesting than this profile would indicate...I dunno why I can't seem to come up with a decent narrative here)
I believe everyone should have a pair of torn jeans completely inappropriate to wear in public but perfect for laying around the house.
I love boardgames/tabletop gaming (and Wil Wheaton's Tabletop), and even this new one with legos.
Also, I might have a Kickstarter problem.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a job I love.
Trying to figure out how to get my writing working again.
Being surprisingly good in the kitchen. And doing paleo without being obnoxious.
Saying things you wouldn't expect.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh
Writing erotica (one story (a lesbian vampire story...ugh...I know...)is about to be published in an anthology)
Being adorable.
Being cute with my cats.
Solving.
Being funny.
Telling stories (I LOVE telling stories...though I seldom know when it will happen, or what story...it just happens)
The first things people usually notice about me

How, exactly, would I know?

Asian (chinese, japanese, indian), mexican, good old meat and potatoes. Oh...and PIZZA!
Today, for example, I made three thai dishes (I'm currently on Paleo). I'm a pretty decent cook.

Movies? Lets see...recently I watched The Untouchables again (thats one of those movies I can just turn on for 20 minutes at any time), I liked The Bay, too. On my DVD shelf is Blade Runner, Battlestar Galactica (the recent series), Buckaroo Banzai (which has the bestest DVD extra EVAH!),Farscape, Fight Club, The Host, LOTR, Sports Night, etc. etc. etc.
Others...Firefly, Serenity, Buffy, Angel, Arrow (for reasons I can't explain),Dr. Who, The Exorcist, Close Encounters, Jaws (seriously, you MUST see the blu-ray release), The Aristocrats, Breaking Bad, Top Chef, Archer, Avengers.
Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In The Shell (the original movie, and Stand Alone Complex), RIN Daughters of Mnemosyne, Luther,Hannibal,Jeckyl,Sherlock

Books, I'm currently reading Austin Grossman's "YOU", and love SF and speculative fiction. I'm particularly drawn to authors with poetic voices. People like Kathe Koja, Caitlin Keirnan, and so on. Some of the really important books for me have been: Where I'm Calling From (my introduction to Raymond Carver), The Things They Carried (which showed me a new way of writing a novel), Neuromancer (which broke SF forever), Skin (poetry and prose, at last). And Borges. Because fucking BORGES!!
Comic books of all varieties!

Music: At heart, I'm a punk/grunge boy (husker du, pixies, smithereens), but I also like Lady Gaga, Cibo Matto, and Rhianna, so...but I'd shoot myself if I was stuck on a desert island with only Korn to listen to.

Dammit. I can't stop listening to BabyMetal's Gimme Chocolate.
AND I DON'T WANT TO!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my iPhone
my cats (don't tell them, though)
my friends
my t-pass
the great people I work with
my parents
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I want to do now that I'm ready for the next part of my life.
Is The Exorcist really a condemnation of the mental health system?
How badly can Sony screw up the PS4?
Should we even bother being a single country anymore? I mean, really, let'em secede.
How sexuality and gender aren't binary, but a spectrum. If you don't agree, we probably won't get along. I'm not in one of those boxes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm a homebody so...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Every few years I try circus peanuts, and every few years I am once again disappointed that something with such an improbable, perhaps near impossible, color is not delicious.

Um...I've been to PAX East three times and really wish I could go to Prime this year.
I have a weakness for reality TV marathons (I lost a day once to Making The Band)
Also, I consider myself to be a bit genderfluid and queer.
Also, my sexuality is a thing in flux,l. Its annoying that OKCupid has only the three choices. For a while, I had it set as 'bisexual', but that is rather misleading and unfair to nice gentlemen who might find me in their searches. Herteofleixble, queer, etc, are all better terms.
Also, I sold my car this year and I've never made a better decision.

Thats a whole lot of stuff.
However, I should also add this: Outside of one particular friend's child, I really have no interest in kids (even that one I'm only passingly interested in). I have zero interest in having one, and so far I have little reason to think I'll have interest in any children. That might change depending on their age, but I just want to put it out there. I know that's problematic for some (many) but...
