Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a bright, serious, fun-loving, Jewish vegetarian(mostly). I'm
70 ( no one believes it, especially me!) and slim. Abandoning
modesty, I think I am attractive, and I take care of myself. I grew
up in Pittsburgh, went to Carnegie-Mellon and U of Wisconsin. I'm a
visual artist--a painter. I am somewhat quirky, a bit goofy at
times, moderately "classy" at other times, yet friends tell me I am
so "normal". I've been a widow for over 10 years. I have 3 married
children and one grandchild. I'm looking for someone who is kind,
intelligent, ethical, fun, and emotionally capable of a close,
lasting relationship. Someone who likes to go out and do things--
travel, concerts, movies, theater.... Not a Republican. I'm not
needy other than to give and receive love and affection. Well there
you have a piece of me in a nutshell. If you are at all interested
and want to talk and learn more, please contact me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm enjoying my family and friends and helping them in various
ways. I continue to work on my art, and I go to exhibitions and
performances of other people's art. I enjoy dancing--ballroom,
Latin, swing & country. I'm also involved in conservation of
forests in my area.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Marigold Hotel", "King's Speech", "When Harry Met Sally", "Downton
Abbey"(love that Maggie Smith!), "This American Life", NPR, Cat
Stevens, Bob Marley, Willie Nelson, Mozart, Beethoven, Verdi, beet
salad with goat cheese, wild mushroom risotto, great margarita
pizza, ice cream and anything chocolate--especially dark.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Air conditioning (in warm climates)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All these questions on OkCupid---and why all the good people in the
world haven't yet cancelled out evil---and how will we solve global
warming in time---and will my children and grandchild(ren?) be
okay--and---what color is the wind---??
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the movies, at a dance workshop, at a restaurant or at home
watching a movie on TV.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Anything I admit here is not private. But I do admit that I don't
like the idea of trying to sell myself on the internet. I'd much
rather be meeting eligible like-minded people in person in the real
