If it were possible to be an actor (read: waiter), a huge sports fan, a politics and philosophy geek, and a hardcore nerd all rolled into one, that would be me.

Luckily, that's impossible.

After a six month stint in Florida at an Acting Apprenticeship, I'm back in the wonderful Northwest and loving it. I'm currently working on building my acting resume while stereotypically working at a restaurant. Recently, I started working on creating a web series that I hope to one day turn into a TV show.

And living. I'm also living...with my life. You know.

Listening. It's just about the best skill you can have, in my opinion, since it's what allows you to become good at other things.

My sense of humor. I'm quirky and quick-witted (perhaps a little quixotic) and I love to laugh. I firmly believe that everything can be funny in the right light, it's just a matter of finding that light. Sometimes it's plain as day, sometimes it's buried under a mountain of dark, but there is always a light.

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, the Kingkiller Chronicles, the Ender's Game series (just don't talk to me about Card's politics), Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Stormlight Archive, Mogworld. Generally fantasy and sci fi anything.

Shows: Doctor Who, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, The Big Bang Theory, The IT Crowd, How I Met Your Mother, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Star Trek, Community (when I eventually watch more than one episode).

Movies: I don't watch nearly enough movies, but I'll give it a try. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, any of Eddie Izzard's stand-up routines, The Princess Bride, Young Frankenstein, V for Vendetta, anything Pixar or Pixar-related (not named Cars), good Disney (shut up), musicals, Star Wars, Star Trek, Serenity, most of Tarantino's stuff, most of Nolan's stuff, half of Kevin Smith's stuff, and anything with the following actors: Tom Hanks, Natalie Portman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Meryl Streep (except Mamma Mia...that was HORRIBLE).

Music: I'll give anything a shot until it's terrible, but I mostly listen to classic and indie rock.

Food: Food.
