My self-summary
I used to talk about riding motorcycles here, but I deleted all that. It has become too dangerous these days with texting, drunk drivers, and just people not paying attention. I am in the process of selling mine and finding a new hobby to enjoy.

I served in the Army and got out with all my parts still attached. I had fun and enjoyed the ride, but the life wasn't for me.

I currently have a job in the field of science. I sometimes get to go spelunking into old buildings from the 40's and do surveys to see what type of radioactive contaminants, if any, are stored or have been spilled.

I like to dance. I normally have my music playing 90% of the time I am off work.

Anything else you'd like to know then feel free to ask.

INTP personality
What I’m doing with my life
I've become a beach bum. I've been twice this year and I am planning to go once or twice more. I got a taste of salt in my blood and love it! The drive sucks, but the end result is well worth it.
I’m really good at
Gaming, writing short stories/ poems, planning vacations, and acting goofy
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told by co-workers it is my smile and my butt. I can't see my own butt, so I will take their word for it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books/ Authors-
George R R Martin- Song of Ice and Fire series (sucks that he has sold the rights to these books to no name video game companies, it could have been epic!) I haven't watched the shows and I won't until he writes the last book ...whenever that happens. Hope it is within the span of my lifetime haha.

Stephen King- Hard to point at only one King book and say that it is the best. I love the Darktower series, but The Stand is what got me into his domain. BEWARE THE CRIMSON KING!!!!

David Farland- The Runelords series. Amazing and I really love the new outlook he has toward magic and the way it is controlled.

David Eddings- His early works were very nice. He sadly lost his touch later on.

I have many others on my Kindle, but these 4 strike home.

Bourne series

Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels

Kung-Fu Hustle

Wow I don't even know where to start here. I currently have 3139 songs on my iPod and it grows by 8-20 per week. I can hit play and 9.6 days later the 1st song will repeat. I like anything, but newer pop and country. Bluegrass is ok, but country is like pop played at a very very slow tempo. Techno and early 8-bit Final Fantasy beats will always have a place in my heart. Symphonic metal (big in Germany) with a full orchestra ensemble.
Some examples:

Carlos Vives Como Tu: Oakenfold

When I'm small - Phantogram

Black Panther - Crystal Castles
Don't watch it. I've watched a total of maybe 4 hours of TV last year. I'd rather be doing something else. Not paying for commercials. Any fantasy it provides I can live out in books or RPGs without the immersion breaking factor of screaming ads.
*edit- I've become an Impractical Jokers fan. I buy the seasons to avoid commercials.
The six things I could never do without
Laughter- It cures 90% of the problems of life

Music- Cures the other 10% ha ha

Friends- Their love and sarcasm make every day better

The sound of the ocean waves and the taste of salt

Clean underwear- Gotta have em

Toilet paper- I have no clue how the cowboys made it using magazine paper... that stuff is scratchy!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why people waste so much of their lives watching people on TV life life... when they should be living their own. Turn that TV off. Look over to your kid and play race cars in the hall way or hide n seek or something. No kids? Grab your pet and a sheet. Never met a pet that didn't like to play under a sheet :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday night is Thursday for me. Sometimes out with work mates for drinks and music. Gaming, watching Youtube vids, digging through the vast stores of iTunes for the hidden gems, or reading. Once traffic dies down, I'll head out for an evening motorcycle ride in the hills.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like the movie The Notebook.. and I cried.
You should message me if
You don't like one night stands or flings. You would like to share your favorite hot spots with someone. You are ready to take off for a weekend of exploring America.
