I'm one of those easy-going, fun people you meet through a friend and stay in touch with for years. I can make almost anyone laugh, especially when I'm on form. I am known as an "oracle" between my friends as I listen to all the facts and offer sound advice that usually works out - if they follow it!

My personality often comes as a surprise to people in as much as being tall can make people think you're unapproachable when I'm the opposite. My defining traits are kindness, loyalty, thoughtfulness, a quest for justice and honesty.

I make a point of appreciating people and I dont do things by halves, if I make a commitment to something, I will do my best to see it through.

I am somewhat shy and it can take me a while to feel comfortable with someone new, however, once I do, its usually worth it.

Seeking new direction at the moment. I am with the Open University and have enjoyed the studying I've done so far, though it has been difficult.

Singing - music generally is a big part of my life, one of my main regrets is that my CD collection is so small.

Writing - I haven't done any in a while but I enjoy writing fantasy/fiction and erotica.

Putting people at their ease - people can trust me with their secrets and often do.

Reading - sounds like an odd thing to put on here but I am a really fast reader, I eat books for breakfast!!! (metaphorically, in case you were wondering)

My height!

I border on 6ft2" thanks to my biological Father who was 6ft7".

Other than height, I think people notice my smile or possibly my breasts cos they tend to be at everyone elses eye level!

Favourite books include The Diceman, The Lord of the Rings, Brave New World, Artemis Fowl, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Jane Eyre, The Time Travellers Wife.

Favourite movies include Basic Instinct, Crash (the one with James Spader), The Dark Crystal, The Labyrinth, Laputa - Castle in the Sky, Rent, When Harry Met Sally, Sweeney Todd.

Favourite music... I like all sorts, my tastes range from Kate Bush to Radiohead, David Bowie to Classical and I especially love Rush. I love musicals and generally anything with meaning. I tend not to like modern stuff; though there are one or two songs recently that I've liked. More or less any genre will be found in my collection.

Food... Pasta (anything really with pasta in it), Chicken Tikka and homemade rice pudding. As long as there are no mushrooms in sight, we're usually okay.
