I'm a 25 year old guy from Halifax and am a big fan of the city and the Maritimes in general. I love to cook, play (and design) board games, bike and do yoga.

I have a positive outlook on life and don't complain. Things are going pretty well for me!

I read a lot. Lately it's been a lot of current events and academic stuff, but I also enjoy literary classics when I have the time. Lately, I've been getting into more stuff related to cultural commentary.

I'm in the process of finishing my MA in international affairs, though I've recently decided not to pursue a job in the federal government. Right now, I'm planning to finish my degree by the summer and spend the fall in France to improve my french and consider whether or not I want to do law school or another MA.

Right now, I work as a typist at the courthouse. It's not something I plan to do forever, but I do enjoy being able to witness trials and learn how the justice system works (for better and for worse).

I listen to a lot of CBC radio. I almost always have it on when I'm cooking, cleaning and doing work.

Music: Indie stuff, classic rock, ambient, 80s, orchestral, Steve Reich (!) & a bit of trance.

I like things with really strong or earthy flavours. I'm a big fan of grapefruit juice, gin & tonic, cranberry juice, sour candy, curry, barbecued food, (rare) beef, falafel and of course wine!

What in life is fulfilling. My goal isn't to make big bucks (though I wouldn't mind), but to find an occupation that is stimulates me. Independence is key.

Reading academic articles, cooking, listening to CBC, chilling with with friends over drinks.

I watch reality TV cooking shows (Gordon Ramsay!).
