My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Southern kid from Texas & Missouri moves to Chicago to pursue an improv/acting career. Typical small town to big city dreamer; I'm a cliche. Except I'm not a right wing, christian fundamentalist. ... So I've got that going for me.

Been in Chicago a little over a year and it's really feeling like home for me finally. However, I get the distinct feeling that there will always be plenty to discover about this place!

I wrote a personal ad for this... "Funny red beard seeks Best Friend/Companion in Frivolous Hijinks. Must love loud laughter, movies, outdoor day drinking, spontaneous make outs, and a sweet Savannah drawl that sort of spills off the tongue like molasses."

Ok that last part isn't true.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to have fun and being more mindful to live in the moment. I tend to always focus on the destination instead of the journey.

Pursuing my comedy career in various forms. Stand-up is my current hurdle, but so far I'm finding a ton of inspiration and it feels wonderful!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Knowing who that voice is in that animated movie or commercial.
Speaking. I have a voice for radio.
Hopefully making people laugh.
I'm a decent cook.
I shoplifted something once when I was about 13, sooo I'm basically a really hardcore, badass, looks dangerous but has really kind eyes criminal.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beard? I'm sure that's it.
If we meet you should tell me, I enjoy knowing what people have to say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite book is Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. Loved A Song of Ice and Fire. HP, Mere Anarchy, The Things They Carried, most Palahniuk, Sherlock Holmes, Watchmen...

Let's talk movies! I love most movies. Except horror, I'm not a fan of that genre at all.

The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Office, South Park, It's Always Sunny, Louie, Broad City, Wilfred, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Vice, No Reservations, Boardwalk Empire, Brooklyn 99...

My music tastes are pretty eclectic. Metallica, The Black Keys, Muse, Kid Kudi, Russian Circles, Lupe Fiasco, The Sword, Led Zeppelin, NIN, Mogwai, Mastodon, How to Destroy Angels, Frank Ocean, Deadmau5, Bassnectar, Gary Clark Jr, Pretty Lights, Fleet Foxes...

I love all kinds of food as well. Favorite might be Mexican food. I especially love trying food that I've never had and discovering new restaurants.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Sunshine! I know. It's shocking for a pale ginger, but I love the sun and would rather have natural light inside than a bunch of lamps.

Something to watch.

Hot showers

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to improve myself

I'm constantly searching for a solid story idea, inspiration is often tough to come by for me. What should I watch next on Netflix or what book should I read next?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most likely I'll be working. If not though, just doing hood rat stuff with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once made sure my family and I were first in line for a Jeff Foxworthy concert. I was 10 and it was the 90s ok! At least I didn't have a mullet... at the time.

I always read this section of profiles first (even before I look at the pictures, shocking I know!). It's often the most fun/interesting section. It's fun to see what someone puts, even if it's completely fabricated!

You want to make each other laugh until we cry... Better yet, you're seeking a fun relationship involving lots of smiles, high fives, some drunken afternoons in the sun, lots of couch time with movies, new restaurants, adventures, etc.

Hell, just do it, I think most guys enjoy it when a girl makes a first move.
