Most of my time is spent doing Science, lifting, reading, gaming (board and video), and burning my fingers on a soldering iron.

I've recently moved to Tallahassee to do some science at the Mag Lab. Extremely open to collecting evidence that suggests Tallahassee is not a city where dreams go to die.

Currently, I'm a PhD student at the University of Florida. My research is pretty awesome and if you'd like to know more about it you're going to need a pencil, paper and 30 free minutes.

I am also dabbling in homebrewing, largely because it's basically like doing science, except the end result is delicious beer. How could I refuse?

Eventually I will have to figure out what to do after grad school. I'm either going to sell-out to The Man, get a post-doc position somewhere up north, or abandon civilization to live as a hermit.

Movies: The Sandlot was probably the greatest film ever made, followed closely by Primer. I really enjoy movies about heists and/or revenge. Have you seen HEAT? Goddamn. What a film.

Shows: Battlestar Galactica (the new one) is unequivocally the best TV I've ever seen. I also really enjoyed Firefly, Community, Archer, How I Met Your Mother (only enjoyed first 3 seasons. I watched the rest for completeness), Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Fringe, Sherlock, and Top Gear.

Music: Iron Maiden, Machine Head, Gojira, Mastodon, Amon Amarth, Gorod, Insomnium and Rammstein, Nile, Pantera, Lamb of God, Be'lakor and so on and so forth.
