I made a career transition last summer after state budget cuts caused me to lose a job at a local college that I very much enjoyed. I don't know whether I will try and advance at the (very large) company that employs me now, but I like my job OK and think I'm decent at it. Vague enough?

I like to be creative, even if that means just sitting around and freestyling silly songs about my friends. From the time I got out of college until my job transition in the summer, I made a living writing things.

I play the following instruments with varying degrees of proficiency: Guitar, bass, cello, keyboard and drums.

As everyone on this site claims, I can make people laugh. Or, at least, I can make my friends laugh, but I guess that's why they're my friends in the first place.

The red hair I guess. I've been told I have a distinctive voice.

But yeah, hair.

I like a lot of non-fiction. Stuck on the fourth book of A Song of Ice and Fire. I read a collection of websites and blogs on a daily basis.

I like stupid movies that make me laugh, dramas, etc. Not a film buff by any means, but Mac and Me is a favorite among the classics.

(I'm tired of italicizing stuff)
