Your Notes
Edit your notesI am intelligent, eclectic, and eccentric.
My Self-Summary
i like tattoos and piercings, though i only have the latter. helps with the cost when your best friend is a body piercer. i have 3 piercings in each ear, currently, and i am considering more, but not at the moment. i guess you would call me a bit punkish, but i think that more summarizes my clothing style than my personality. i like punk rock, classic rock, alternative, metal, classical... mostly everything except for rap, r&b, and country.
i love being outside, particularly in the water. it's hard for me to think of a place i feel more at home than wading/swimming in a stream or creek out in the woods. i grew up in a house that sits out in the middle of the woods, and i learned to appreciate not only the privacy, but the beauty of the land itself, and it made me want to do what i can to protect it. part of what convinced me to go into green engineering.
What I’m doing with my life
i don't have much time to spend with my friends, but when i do, there is no telling what we will be doing, or where we will end up. sometimes, we end up at a truck stop in Smith's Grove, or at Denney's or Waffle House or even once or twice in a park at the top of Reservoir Hill... the locals should know where i am talking about. just in case you don't, however, i would be more than glad to show you what the city looks like at 3am from the highest point in bowling green.
I’m really good at
***edit*** sadly, the spiraling economy has forced me to give up (hopefully temporarily) my coopering, and my schedule leaves little time for training at the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hal Duncan, Janny Wurts, Robert Jordan, Tad Williams, Nietzsche, Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe, John Marco, Philip K. Dick, Walter M. Miller, Patrick Rothfuss... there are many others, but that is all i can come up with off the top of my head...
movies... again, a great many... Blade Runner, Fifth Element, Brick, Lucky # Slevin, Reservoir Dogs, Matchstick Men, Boonedock Saints, Trainspotting, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Smoking Aces, A Clockwork Orange... that should be enough to get the picture...
music... Nine Inch Nails, Dream Theater, Theatre of Tragedy, The Cranberries, Reel Big Fish, Aquabats, Sublime, Dementia Cookie Box, AC/DC, Led Zepplin, Savatage (not the Beastie Boys song), Counting Crows, No Doubt, Blues Traveler, The Streets, Smashing Pumpkins, Modest Mouse, The Molly McGuires, Sinatra, the Wallflowers... that's just whats on the next 20 list of my media player.
food... most things i like. i love ethnic foods, like curry dishes, sashimi, bangers and mash... i particularly love mediterranean, asian, middle eastern, and Anglo-Saxon foods. but i go for fast food about as often as i do anything else. though i do seem to be frequenting Ichiban a lot more often. i think i am addicted to the kalamari rolls.
The six things I could never do without
5)music
4)my computer
3)coffee
2)space to move around in
1)my phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
more and more often of late, i seem to be thinking about sensations. like the difference between a brief gust of a breeze compared to the air you feel from someone walking past you.
