Divorced and trying to put myself back out there. You learn a lot from such a situation. One is that positive things can come out of something so negative. My mind and heart are both still alive and open. I am getting in touch with the me I used to be. I'm a pretty likable dude with a good head on my shoulders.

I have to admit that I am very hesitant to instigate conversation on here. There's still a part of me that has yet to wrap my mind around the concept of online dating. Once the conversation begins, however, I am pretty good for a chat.

I am currently a managing director of a local theater and also work as a direct support professional, working with adults with developmental disabilities. My degree is in theatre with an acting emphasis. I love to write. I am working on multiple plays/screenplays.

I'll do the typical bragging stuff first. I am pretty good at this whole theatre thing. I love acting and writing. I am a pretty good singer, too, in shows and just doing it up karaoke-style. I love cooking and learning new recipes. I've been told I am a good listener, good at massages, and I give awesome hugs. These are all pluses, as far as I am concerned.

I'm 6'8". That's difficult to miss.

I love movies. Love them. Oscar season is treated like my Christmas. I enjoy having a nice chat about movies. My top five films include The Godfather, The Empire Strikes Back, and Forrest Gump, but my lengthy list of favorites includes things as varied as The Social Network, Fight Club, Oldboy, District 9, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, High Fidelity, and You've Got Mail. Seriously. Just try me.

I really enjoy reading as well. Anything that hooks me in the first chapter, I usually read to the end. I am currently reading A Game of Thrones and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I also have a spot in my heart for comics. My inner geek embraces a very deep seeded love of Batman.

I'm a Thursday night NBC comedy fan, with a nice peppering of Tosh.0 and The League. Community and Parks and Recreation are my faves. I adore Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. I also am watching some shows we don't get on this side of the pond, such as Misfits, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and The IT Crowd.

Queen is my favorite band of all time, but I do enjoy a bit of everything. Currently, you can catch me listening to, on regular rotation, Childish Gambino, The Civil Wars, and Guster

And with food, I prefer Mexican and Italian, but I am willing to try almost anything.

The usual Friday night for me is either at home, relaxing and watching a movie, at the theatre (acting or hosting a show), or hanging out with a group of close friends, enjoying a drink.
