I like anything that makes me think, laugh, or expands my horizons.
I read mostly non-fiction — popular science, history, travelogues,
and long form articles. I switch it up with some sci-fi now and
I think British science-fiction comedy, much like 1980s time travel
movies, is a disproportionately awesome subgenre.
I like dark comedies, documentaries, and anything by Stanley
Kubrick, Akira Kurosawa, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, or the Coen
Brothers. I've pretty much based my life philosophy on Ferris
Bueller's Day Off.
Yes, I like every show you like that was unjustly cancelled too
soon. I don't watch a lot of television, but I'll make time for
Doctor Who and Mad Men, and The Daily Show is usually on when I
