My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, I was once paid to film a bunch of dogs just hanging out. It was pretty great.

Open-mindedness is a HUGE deal for me. I will give everything a fair shake and I love trying new stuff. If you feel the same, we will probably get along real nice-like.

I just moved to West Philly.

I recently wrote review of a best-of Foreigner cd for fun. It's a humor piece. I'm VERY intellectual.

I love artistic expression, I love fun, I love intensity.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in a band.
Eating a lot healthier.
Figuring out where stuff is in this state.
Playing bass/drawing/writing/taking pictures at shows.
Trying to have a good time. Also an interesting time.
Making someone laugh.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Never getting enough sleep, finding my way home from new places, hanging out with animals, giving compliments, staying up to date on current events and cooking grilled cheese.

Dancing without any idea of what I'm doing. I fucking love dancing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is my hair and beard, most likely.

Also my extendable robo-arms.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Eugene Ionesco's play "The Bald Soprano" and Grant Morrison's run on the comic Doom Patrol really shaped how I feel about art and originality. I also really like Dune, Ship of Fools by Richard Paul Russo, Malcolm X's autobiography, House of Leaves, Catch 22, Apathy and Other Small Victories, A Confederacy of Dunces, Kurt Vonnegut, Cormac MacCarthy, Chuck Palahniuk and a whole mess of plays. Also, I bought this book called eccentrics and oddities or something and it's all about weird people through history. It's really neat!

Though I have been a part of two podcasts, Uhh Yeah Dude is the best and only one I listen to.

I like so many movies. Redbelt, There Will Be Blood, Eraserhead, The Thing, Shotgun Stories, Brick, Raging Bull, Fargo, The Fountain, Videodrome, Hud, Ghostbusters, Special, Little Dieter Needs to Fly, The Happiness of the Katakuris, Survive Style 5+. I have a lot of favorite directors, Fincher, the Coens, P.T. Anderson and Aronofsky haven't failed me yet. I will watch anything with Michael Shannon in it.

The great Larry Sanders Show begat a bunch of shit I love, like Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Louie, blah blah. I've recently gotten addicted to British panel shows and Gaki no Tsukai. Fawlty Towers. Monty Python's Flying Circus. Almost anything Adult Swim. Food shows. Eagleheart, Check it Out with Steve Brule , The Eric Andre Show and Trailer Park Boys are probably the best comedy shows I've ever seen. Lost, Twin Peaks, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Twilight Zone are the non-funny favorites.

Music: Ulver, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Boards of Canada, Red Sparowes, Minor Threat, Fuck Buttons, Neurosis, Liars, Clint Mansell, Faith No More, Daft Punk, Enslaved, Queens of the Stone Age, Fugazi, Coil, Aphex Twin, the Ruins of Beverast, Thee Oh Sees, Arvo Pärt, Converge, Wire, Cult of Luna, Portishead, Woe, Jesu, Hüsker Dü, Martin Grech, Isis, Death Grips, Russian Circles, Tombs, Jogger, Old Man Gloom, Björk, Castevet. I listen to music aaaaaa lot. Showing someone a band and them liking it is fucking better than anything.

Food: Grilled Cheese, Mac 'n' Cheese, Indian food in general, pad see ew, bread, pizza, burritos, salad, peanut butter, spinach, onions, grapes + cheese + some sort of crackers is my favorite snack. I really like to cook, but what I make usually doesn't come out perfect. Maybe that's endearing? Pancakes are a mistake that I order often.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Something to write or draw on
2. absurdism/surrealism in stuff.
3. Norm MacDonald
4. Spending time with animals
5. my beard maybe? I'm pretty terrified to see what I would look like without it
666!!!!!!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Movies, pizza, vegetarian food, music, dumb jokes, cats, how awful everything is in the world and how things seem to be getting better, whether or not some show is worth the money, movies, pizza, death, friends, how much of our free will is predetermined by our genetics and blah blah blah. That last one I have been thinking about a LOT lately. But thinking about what kind of voice a dog would have is more fun usually.

I also think about classism and oppression all the time. Progress means things get better, traditionalism can go take a hike. When I drive past tacky mansions, I sometimes yell at them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with friends, at a show or dead dead dead.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'M A BIG IDIOT ACTUALLY

Let's just go ahead and pretend that "if" isn't there.

I will say this, I can pretty much promise that you will have a good time if we hang out. Neato.
