Hi! I'm Aaron and I'm TOTALLY AWESOME.

Here's a futile attempt to sum up my psyche in one page:

*I amuse myself constantly - I spontaneously generate commentary about almost everything on a constant basis. I greatly appreciate witty banter, but also really enjoy awful puns and jokes considered "inappropriate" for most audiences.

*I'm an intellectual - I was a philosophy major, and you'd be more likely to catch me discussing the meaning of life than watching a sports game. I like discovering how and why things work, and I enjoy science for its own sake.

*I'm very honest - I have a strong sense of personal morality which includes not lying, cheating, or playing mind games. I know how awful it feels to be deceived, so I refuse to do it to others.

*I'm loving and romantic - I love sharing joy with people I care about. Though most people wouldn't know it from casually talking to me, I have a very strong romantic side. I should add that I enjoy cuddling more than almost anything.

*I love bulletpoints - and dashes are cool too.

I graduated from WashU, and now I'm in the so-called "real world". I am currently working as a "Data Integrity Specialist" - sounds boring as hell, but it is actually a pretty great job.

Solving problems. Giving massages. Silly wordplay. Strategy games. Teaching things to people.

Also, Laser Tag. I'm unstoppable. Seriously, I'm the best damn laser tag player I've ever met and I'm proud of it. Why go on about laser tag? Because it gets no respect! If I said I was a star quarterback everyone would ooh and aah, but laser tag - nothin. Whatever, I know I'm awesome.

I think most people notice the fact that I'm always out there with some sort of comment, opinion, suggestion, or joke. I don't tend to fade into the background. I've been told that I speak very "precisely".

The first thing my relatives notice is "OH MY GOD HE'S GOTTEN SO TALL!".

Books: The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, the Golden Age Trilogy, the Dune Septology, anything by Chuck Palahniuk

Movies: 2001 (nearly anything by Kubrick), Snatch, Vanilla Sky, The Big Lebowski.

Music: I'm all over the place. Some favorites include Barenaked Ladies,ATB,Infected Mushroom,Cake,DJ Tiesto,Billy Joel,Green Day,Queen. I've recently discovered that I enjoy mashups more than anything else - listening to one song at a time is for suckers!

Food: Warm brownie sludge with vanilla ice cream
