Also, I'm currently seeing someone and thus off the romantic market. I am still looking for new friends in the area though. :-)

I am also not looking to make long distence penpals. I know there are amazing people all over the world, but I don't want my friends to all be online. So, if you live far enough away so that we couldn't see each other on a somewhat regular basis (at least once a month), then I don't really want to foster a relationship. I came on to meet people and make friends that I could actually see and touch and visit with, not friends I only talk to online.

I'm a teacher. I would like to be in the school system teaching, but right now I work for a company that subsidizes for the school system. I homeschool kids who can't go to school for various reasons.

Movies: too many to list and in most every genre. Not into hack and slash gore or really sappy prefab chick flicks. (the only gore based movie I like are zombie movies. I have a soft spot in my heart for zombie movies)

Music: I like most music from bluegrass, jazz, blues, country to classical, folk, classic rock and some heavy rock. I do not like acid rock, death metal, rap or hip hop.

Food: easier to list the foods I don't like... sea urchin, grape leaves, asparagus, green olives, green peppers, red licorice and mushrooms... everything else is fair game. I'm willing to try almost anything and often do. I'm a very adventuresome eater.

I have been doing a lot more lately. I've been going out with friends. Gone on a few dates, explored some awesome bars in Worcester.

2. I'm a horrible speller. If you are a spelling nazi, just pass on by this girl. I can't spell to save my soul. I do try. I'm constantly making the effort.

I am looking for a guy, but I'm also not in an extreme hurry and I'm overly cautious. I know what I'm looking for and I'm willing to wait for it. That being said... please please don't contact me if within the first time you ever talk to me you profess that you love me or want me to have sex with you. I'm not here for that...

I AM interested in meeting people who want new friendships, especially if you are around my area and want to hang out and do fun things! Also I love to go to museums or walks or activities that require little to no money.
