My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Now realizing my screen name could come off as sexual. It's not, simply an avid fan of Action Bronson.... aight then.

Native NY'er, spent few years in DC, now I'm back in my native land.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Navigating through quarter life crisis.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mean muggin, taxi cab freestyles, listing state capitals
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Blunt honesty, sense of humor, the smell of weed, hair
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books? Honestly, I've read 2 books since school ended and one of those had pictures. I'm more the news reader, spending unproductive work hours on WonkBlog, NYTimes (which I pay for), Slate, The Atlantic, WSJ, The Hill, Breitbart (pretty fun arguing with gun grabbing octogenarians) and a few other blogs.

Movies? Damn, too many to name. I usually go by director, the holy trinity of Tarantino, Scorsese, and the Coen Bros, never go wrong. Love courtroom/law flicks... without question 12 Angry Men wins the crown, honorable mention to Witness For the Prosecution, Philadelphia and A Few Good Men. I'm a sucker for the "golden era" of Hollywood flicks... nearly anything done by Billy Wilder, or anything starring Humphrey Bogart, William Holden (yes, in case you were wondering, I own Sabrina) or Faye Dunaway.

Shows? Frasier is the most slept on show among hipsters, Kelsey Grammar is such a slept on actor. I enjoy the AMC and HBO joints, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Girls, Real Time, Boardwalk Empire, that kind of thing. Aside from that I'm watching either PBS NewsHour, Family Feud (preferably stoned) or HGTV.

Music? Hmmm.... to give you an idea, here are the titles of some of my playlists in iTunes:
+80's Black
+80's White (segregated 80's, because Carly Simon and Prince would not be performing at the same concert)
+Funkier Than a Hooker's Draws (Slave, S.O.S. Band, Colonel Abrams, Tom Browne, Gap Band, Fatback, etc.)
+Bronsolino (nickname for the best active rapper in the game, need a hint then refer to my self-summary)
+Latest Ratchet $&!# (sometimes bands make her dance)
+NY Sooo Fly (collection of that mid 90's NYC rap back when Tommy Hilfiger and Timbs were the uniform)
+Jazz 4 dat Ass (feat. my favorite vocalist Astrud Gilberto, also Coltrane, Getz, Miles, Brubeck, Wayne Shorter, and more)
+New Era (Joey Badass, Big KRIT, Black Hippy, A$AP Mob, Flatbush Zombies, Danny Brown, other underground/Trillectro type acts)
+Samples (you wouldn't believe the origins of some of your favorite songs)
+Sunday Drive (back when I had a car, this was something you could blast when you pull up to the light without offending any church folk... Stevie, Fleetwood Mac, The Blackbyrds, Roy Ayers, Patrice Rushen, etc.)
+Wu (self explanatory)
+Tunes (dancehall)
+Tunes - Golden Crust Edition (old school dancehall)
+U St (things vintage T-shirt wearers listen to.. SBTRKT, Little Dragon, Lykke Li, Santogold, Glass Candy etc.)

Food? I ain't picky.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Subwoofer
Unlimited Metrocard
Macbook
Hot sauce
Justerini & Brooks/Dewars and Guinness
EZ Wider Slow Burning, Raw, Bambu rolling papers... and tree to fill obviously
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The CPA Exam, words that rhyme, Action Bronson lyrics, hair conditioning products, screen plays, impractical business ideas, politics, restaurants/seamless, shit to be done at work, Dow Jones Industrial Average, mixed babies, NYC's vulnerability to natural disaster, couches, girls (women?), where's the bud?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Blasting the latest buffoonery through the speakers, smoking a spliff or two (or 3 or 4) while downing a few brews.... Oh, you asked about Fridays?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm somewhat conservative.... politically that is, like barely.

Holler at cha' boy for a fiery debate on tax cuts, inadequacy of government agencies compared to private enterprise, or the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate. That last one was an attempt at a joke.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
In a perfect world, I'd only get messages from women who:

+Are 420 friendly
+Capable of rolling joints and then insist that I light it, a la Mattie Ross in True Grit (Coen Bros. version)
+Punctual
+Possess at least an 8th grade vocabulary
+Subway accessible (pref w/o a bus transfer)
+Eat brunch no earlier than 2
+Subscribe to Vogue
+Get compliments from podiatrists
+Ambrosial
+Aren't afraid to disagree
+Feel comfortable saying (or at least hearing) the n-word
+Sneak food/edibles/G-pen into movie theaters
+Have similar music and/or film taste to me (which even I know is a stretch)
+Have hair that can be touched, I'm done with weaves
+Don't make small talk (save that for your coworkers)
+ Don't feel it is necessary to send a dozen Buzzfeed articles in a day
+Don't rely on cabs (this ain't Sex and the City)
+Can converse on wide range of topics, whether something trivial or meaningful, as if Seinfeld and Face the Nation had a hybrid show

But I could settle for 3 of these... On second thought, the more the better.
