Reading Vanity Fair right now and love it. Trying to get back to
some of the classics after being let down by some modern novels.
But I do love Cloud Atlas, Confederacy of Dunces, and anything by
Gore Vidal. Also love Hemingway, Harper Lee (To Kill a
Mockingbird), almost any Russian Literature (old and newer - e.g.
Dostoyevsky and Bulgakov), and short stories by Edgar Allen Poe.
Guess I have a dark streak for books. I love gritty reality and
stories that show the truth to humanity in every sense.
TV shows: Favorites include
(1) Breaking Bad
(2) Game of Thrones
(3) Walking Dead
(4) John Stewart
(5) The League (even though I know nothing about fantasy
(6) Downton Abby (yes I can admit I like this soap opera)
Food: Anything I make myself... but if I am going out then I love
Ethiopian, Vietnamese, Spanish Tapas (but not main dishes), French
and Italian (because its great with wine), Russian (because its
great for drinking vodka in the winter), Thai, and beer gardens
with German sausages. For me, food has a lot to do with where you
are eating it.
