My name is Adam and I'm a 29 year old MBA graduate from Bradley U. I am 100% Polish (first generation Polish-American). Both my parents were born in Poland, but were married here. I grew up in the suburbs (Bartlett) and then did my undergraduate and graduate studies in Peoria. And now I've been in the city for almost 4 years.

I have a pet dog, Toby. He is 7 years old and probably the largest and most emotional Boston Terrier you will ever see.

I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to interests. I watch football, hockey, and soccer. I read both books and news/internet articles frequently. I enjoy movies, friends, museums, coverbands, stand-up comedy, and being outdoors. I'm a sucker for rollercosters and theme parks.

I've run a number of 5K's (Warrior Dash, Santa Hustle, Run or Dye, work 5K) and plan on doing more.

Apparently guys lie about their height on here. I am actually 5'10, but I'm probably 6'1-6'2 in heels.

Just accepted a new position as a Product Analyst for a telecom company in Lombard. Not looking forward to the commute, but the pay is pretty sweet

As I said before, been running the themed 5K's. Since I started dieting and exercising last year, I lost 32 pounds.

Also getting my motorcycle license this summer. Pretty excited about that.

Problem solving, I have an engineer's mentality.
Being a social nerd (meaning I like some videogames, sci-fi books and movies, a few animes, but none of the social awkwardness).

Books: Ender's Game and the rest in the series (though I prefer the Ender's Shadow continuation of the series over the Speaker of the Dead continuation), anything by Jim Butcher, Harry Potter, Tucker Max, Neil Strauss, George R. R. Martin, I'm also going to include internet articles because I do read a lot of them. I read a lot in general. Always have a book on my nightstand

Shows: Archer, Californication, The Daily Show/Colbert Report, X-Files, South Park, House of Cards, Dead Like Me, Sons of Anarchy, Happy Endings, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, House, Robot Chicken, Bleach, The Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock, Game of Thrones.

Movies: The Hangover, Pan's Labyrinth, The Lincoln Lawyer, Princess Mononoke, Nolan's Batman trilogy, Fifth Element, Beerfest, Super Troopers, any Pixar movie, Donnie Darko, The Mist, and most cheesy horror movies. Really, I like most genres. Even foreign films.

Music: Frank Turner, Straight No Chaser, Rob Zombie, Ke$ha, LMFAO, Right Side of the Tree, Mindless Self Indulgence, Queen, Tenacious D, The Lonely Island, Mumford and Sons, most 80's and 90's music. Really, it's just a mash up. I also like mash-ups.
