My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a fun and happy guy yet I like to be serious at times of course and I can become fairly passionate over some subjects. Many friends describe me as funny but I'll let you be the judge of that. I am a little introverted at times but I have many times of being extroverted and I can be nerd at times but only the coolest people are. I am skinny and not athletic but that does not mean that I am not active. I enjoy hiking whenever I can, I find peace hiking and would love to find someone who shared that love of nature to hike with. I like camping and canoeing and other such things however I have not participated in them for quite a while. I love other cultures, history, politics and geography. I have traveled and lived in other countries.

I know most women on here want a man who knows exactly where he is going and has secure and well defined goals. This is not me, not that I do not have goals and ambitions, but I, like most people, whether they admit it our not, do not know exactly where I am headed. I hope to one day have a family, a job that I enjoy and a place to call home. But when and in what manner this will be fulfilled is anybodies guess. So if you are looking for the man who has it all together and has a 10 step plan to success, I will probably disappoint, life is an adventure and a pilgrimage for me, not a mathematical formula. All I can be is me and it will take the rest of my life to figure out who that is exactly.

OK enough of the deep philosophical stuff :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished University for Sociology so right now I am working full-time at a completely unrelated job. I also do a Podcast and do some stand-up comedy at open mics when I get to Toronto or Hamilton
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being creative, having conversations about nothing in particular, spouting random pieces of information.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Currently, my red beard. They would also notice I can get fairly passionate about certain subjects.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love movies I really appreciate a movie with good acting and a good story but sometimes even just one with lots of explosions haha. Favorites include, The Lord of the Rings, M. Night Shamaylan movies pre-2006, Matthew Vaughn movies, Christopher Nolan movies, Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, almost anything by J.J. Abrams, Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Martin Scorsese, Micheal Mann, Quentin Tarentino, and many more. I will admit I probably watch movies a little too much and I really like watching and discussing movies with other movie lovers and I also like showing new movies to people who haven't seen them.

Books include: The Children of Men, The Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Oath

I also love comedy, I listen to a podcast called WTF with Marc Maron, if you know it i'd love to chat, there are to few people who I can chat about it with!

TV Shows: Lost, Arrested Development, 24, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Chuck and more

I love music. mostly rock, classic rock and contemporary, my favorite band is U2 but also like, in to particular order: Peter Gabriel, The Killers, Pink Floyd, Matisyahu, Bedouin Soundclash, Deathcab for Cutie, The Eagles, The Beatles, Boston, Barenaked Ladies, Coldplay, Elton John, Cake, The Arkells, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Genesis, Matchbox 20, Neil Young, The Police, Rush, Tom Petty and much more. I love going out and seeing live music either cover bands or original bands, I also love jazz and blues live.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Outdoors
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
World Issues, politics, religion, life, the universe and everything! How I would survive the future zombie apocalypse, WW3 or major natural disaster. And how some movies can be made by hundreds of people with tens of millions of dollars and can still be laced with horrid acting, terrible scripts and absent and/or nonsensical plots.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends at a local bar watching a good band while drinking some fine English ale.
At home alone watching a movie/TV show or reading a book.
At a friends house playing board games.
Jamming with the band at an open mic.
