I grew up abroad and moving from country to country every few years. I've attended schools in a few different places until finally graduating high school in Thailand. After that I moved back to California for college.
I went through a few majors while I was in college, but I was indecisive about what I really wanted to do (journalism, writing, computer science), so I left and decided I'd go back once I absolutely knew what major to pursue and didn't feel so jaded about the education system.
I know that I get the most joy out of life by being creative and entertaining others, and I can safely admit that my anxiety and self-criticism are the biggest reasons I'm not doing those kinds of things more often.
I've been told I'm fun, easy to talk to, and a good listener. I love rain and thunderstorms, and look forward to sitting next to a fireplace listening to jazz while reading a book during either of them. Honestly, I'll probably be reading dumb stuff online instead when that actually happens, but the dream looks better without the laptop.
