I am a fun-loving young guy who just graduated from VT. I like to be outside, dine out with friends, run sometimes, spend quiet time at home, volunteer with my church, and dance at the Rivermill when Boogieburg is playing.

I consider myself to be intellectual. I am in the arduous process of becoming well-read. I like fire. Not in a creepy arsonist way, more like a primal, cave man style. I grew up on a farm, which informs a lot of my views on the world. I used to smoke, but I am trying hard to quit. I'm not very reverent. I strongly dislike horses.

I currently work in the lab at an engineering firm in Blacksburg. I am working to save enough money to go to seminary in a few years.

Secretly, I want to open a pet store and just play with frogs all day, but there isn't any money in that sadly.

I don't, as a rule, watch many movies. I have a short attention span and get bored with them easily. I've tried to watch the Dark Knight probably 30 times but always give up an hour in. I love trance music, but also rap, jazz, and ethnic stuff. I like good food- sushi, decent Italian, cheeses of all sorts, wine and beer. And mushrooms. Lots of mushrooms.

the future, how I can do something nice for someone else, bacteria (hey, occupational hazard).

with my friends at a bar playing pool, reading a book with my dogs and a glass of wine, or preparing for a weekend trip to go hiking somewhere nearby.

Hmm.. How about this: I'm really self-conscious about the way people perceive me at first. I'm afraid of being annoying, but I have a lot of good friends, so I guess I couldn't be that bad.
