I just came back from the Landmark theater in Richmond. The honored speaker was none other than Dr Jane Goodall. She was so inspiring.

I am active, intelligent, witty, strong, vital, brash, understanding, thoughtful, candid, and honest.

I was born in NYS and moved to VA in the late 90's. Eventually married, acquired a modicum of material possessions together and divorced some years later. I attended college and graduate school, obtained a job teaching high school science.

What this means is that I know what it is like to be in a long term relationship and know the value of consistency and the wonderful feeling of "place" within a relationship. I have two sisters, many nephews and nieces.

School has been keeping my work world busy and has but the Kiabash on many social aspects of it as well. I have thought long and hard about dating at a distance, and have come to the conclusion that this is not a good idea for me to do. Dating is planned activities as well as spur of the moment stuff when possible. Grabbing a beer or a glass of wine on a weekday night or a quick movie is fun and builds common experiences as much as a trip to the mountains or the Outer Banks. Dating someone 2 hours away is a hard thing to do.
