My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love my job, my friends, and my family. But in the reverse order. Balancing work and actual life is extremely important to me, but I also don't necessarily see the two as separate entities. I couldn't do something for 8+ hours every day that I felt was unrelated to who I am.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an account exec at an ad agency in Center City. Not something I ever really saw myself doing, but I love it. It's one of these post-new-age/Google-esque offices where even the CEO wears t-shirts to work and we all curse and play ping-pong a lot. Kinda like a modern version of Mad Men but without the sexual harassment and rampant alcoholism. Although we do have an office kegerator...

I also write songs and play drums in a band. I'm somewhat serious about it, but won't take it at all personally if you're unimpressed by it/don't care. My ego can handle it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Useful Human Things: reading people's moods and emotional states by observing subtle cues; remembering to refill the Brita.

Useless Bro Things: Wii tennis; foosball; pretending to care about sports when socially necessary

Books: Joyce and Kafka are my go-to authors; always good for a re-read if I'm bored. I'm also a fan of any well-written science book that's able to explain complex ideas in an entertaining way (I recently finished Incognito: The Secret Lives of The Brain by David Eagleman, it was awesome).

Movies: Generally speaking, if Wes Anderson was involved in the project, I'll probably like it.

TV: Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Girls, The Wire, Arrested Development, The Life & Times of Tim, South Park

Music: Way too much to list. Recent shows that made me happy: Father John Misty, Tame Impala, Delorean, Cody ChesnuTT, Cults. I also have a collaborative playlist on Spotify entitled "badass chics" which my coworker and I update almost every day. It's up to about 100 songs now, but I'm always open to suggestions.

Food: Like seemingly everyone else in the city, I recently got into drinking green juice pretty much every day. It's just so good. And I never say no to really good sushi or some Tiffin. God I love Tiffin.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, Friends, Music, Good Headphones, Coffee, Cozy Pants

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
