I don't watch much TV, but I do like to take in a good movie and I love to read.
I have a huge thirst for knowledge and I love to learn how things work, usually by hands on experience if at all possible... I have always loved to take things apart, though, unfortunately, I am not so good at putting them back together again.
I am unquenchabley curious about everything around me and have rather large doses of ambition and the desire to reach the stars.
I am very family oriented (I happen to have the best one in the world,) and very close with the members of mine. My siblings and cousins are some of my best friends.
I am looking for a serious relationship with someone who also has strong family ties.
I am traditional when it comes to relationships, perhaps a bit old fashioned about life. I like a man to be well in control, capable of taking charge and leading.
I am a writer, always having been artistically inclined, I have nearly finished my first manuscript. I have a lot of exciting things on my plate for the near future that I am really looking forward too. I love to write, but I don't think I will ever want to give up my work with children. That, however, is a bridge I will cross when I get to it.
helping-I have always given good advice as well as done whatever I could to fix a problem,
teaching-what I was trained to do and I am pretty good at it,
and sculpting, polymer clay is a current favorite... as well as many other art forms.
-Pencils, sometimes colored - I can't draw for my life, it is one of the few art forms I have an issue mastering, but I love it - don't forget erasers lots and lots of erasers... and my polymer clay... I should just make this one my art supplies, because I don't think I could be a relatively functioning, sane adult if I did not have them. Does my writing fit under this as well? Because I don't think I could live without that either.
-Friends and family are a given here. I would not be who or what I am without them. Whether that is a good or bad thing has yet to be determined....
-The company of people/time alone - both are important in, if not equal measures, appropriate times.
-I am ashamed to admit, my Iphone... I have grown entirely too attached to the thing, but it makes me happy all the little silly games and ways to make and keep contacts, I'm just going to go ahead and put my laptop under his one as well, but that could also go with the art supplies one, I do use it for my creative endeavors.
-Rainy/snowy days, hot cocoa and a warm fire- the perfect mix of gloom and cheer.
I think I cheated a bit here, I know this is a bit more than just six things, but I won't tell if you don't!
And of course if you are interested. I try and at least get back to everyone who takes the time to send me a message.
