My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a generally easy to get along with, generous and bubbly person. I have a happy, sweet disposition and an optimistic outlook on life. I am smart, funny and down to earth (Yeah, me and everyone else on this site :p)

I don't watch much TV, but I do like to take in a good movie and I love to read.

I have a huge thirst for knowledge and I love to learn how things work, usually by hands on experience if at all possible... I have always loved to take things apart, though, unfortunately, I am not so good at putting them back together again.

I am unquenchabley curious about everything around me and have rather large doses of ambition and the desire to reach the stars.

I am very family oriented (I happen to have the best one in the world,) and very close with the members of mine. My siblings and cousins are some of my best friends.

I am looking for a serious relationship with someone who also has strong family ties.

I am traditional when it comes to relationships, perhaps a bit old fashioned about life. I like a man to be well in control, capable of taking charge and leading.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am well educated with a masters in children with disabilities and childhood education and am looking into continuing on for my PhD, eventually.

I am a writer, always having been artistically inclined, I have nearly finished my first manuscript. I have a lot of exciting things on my plate for the near future that I am really looking forward too. I love to write, but I don't think I will ever want to give up my work with children. That, however, is a bridge I will cross when I get to it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
listening-I am a shoulder to cry on and can always make time when needed,

helping-I have always given good advice as well as done whatever I could to fix a problem,

teaching-what I was trained to do and I am pretty good at it,

writing-my passion,

and sculpting, polymer clay is a current favorite... as well as many other art forms.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first thing people notice about me is my smile (I have dimples,) I smile a lot, and my laugh, (my nickname in high school was giggles,) as well as my large, bright eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The list of books is too long, just stop by and take a peek at my overcrowded book shelf-the one I am reading at the moment though, is 'The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide' for possibly the tenth time since I fell in love with it in high school. I am an avid reader! I don't watch much TV at all, if I get in a few hours a month that is a lot. I like all music that I can sing along to and I learn the words to most songs rather fast.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Hot showers! I'll cheerfully use up all the hot water in NYC!

-Pencils, sometimes colored - I can't draw for my life, it is one of the few art forms I have an issue mastering, but I love it - don't forget erasers lots and lots of erasers... and my polymer clay... I should just make this one my art supplies, because I don't think I could be a relatively functioning, sane adult if I did not have them. Does my writing fit under this as well? Because I don't think I could live without that either.

-Friends and family are a given here. I would not be who or what I am without them. Whether that is a good or bad thing has yet to be determined....

-The company of people/time alone - both are important in, if not equal measures, appropriate times.

-I am ashamed to admit, my Iphone... I have grown entirely too attached to the thing, but it makes me happy all the little silly games and ways to make and keep contacts, I'm just going to go ahead and put my laptop under his one as well, but that could also go with the art supplies one, I do use it for my creative endeavors.

-Rainy/snowy days, hot cocoa and a warm fire- the perfect mix of gloom and cheer.

I think I cheated a bit here, I know this is a bit more than just six things, but I won't tell if you don't!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future... I spend too much time thinking actually- so much so that I tend to lose the here and now. I'd love to be grounded in a present relationship, enjoying time as it comes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing cards with my friends after, often times, dragging my butt to the gym if I wasn't able to make it on Thursday and at 11 it's karaoke night with the girls at the local bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sing in the shower...
