I am Sarcastic, Geeky, and Culinarily Inclined.

My Self-Summary

Well i just moved to OR from MN. I'm looking for people to hang out with out here.

I'm also big into technology in general built the last few computers I've had, plus them for all my less technically inclined friends. But that also means I'm deemed tech support for my family. I like watching movies, anime and playing video games. I also like tabletop games so if you know of any in Portland let me know i would like to join.

I also enjoy going and exploring Portland there are so many things here that i have not seen yet, it just seem to be such a wonderful city with alot to offer. I've been to some of the micro brew places in town but i want to check them all out because they have such good beer and food too that they just seem worth it to go to.

Also i enjoy outdoor stuff too such as camping, fishing and skiing. I actually ski raced almost all of high school, so I'm looking forward to going to Mt. Hood this winter and checking it out. I'm also interested to try and go hiking around here and see what all that is about.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I'm working and contemplating if i want to go back to school or not. Either way i have to live here a year for residency first, so i got time to decide. I'm also getting use to taking the bus and walking everywhere I'm use to driving everywhere so this public transportation thing is new for me. I'm also contemplating if i should get a bike or not I've heard that Portland is the city of bikes, but I'm not convinced yet.

I’m really good at

Playing in the kitchen with random foods and spices and somehow making something that tastes good, well to me anyway. Also remembering strange facts and articles I've read.

The first things people usually notice about me

I think people notice my sense of humor, it's more sarcastic then I would like to admit sometimes, but i like to laugh and make people laugh too, because what fun is life if you cant laugh at yourself.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: haven't read in awhile but when i use to i enjoyed sci/fi and fantasy. such as Philip Pulmans novels or Orson Scott Cards works, also classics like Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 or dune. (yes dune is a classic in my eyes)

movies: to many to list but i like weird interesting movies, action and horror.

music: Rock and Techno are my favorites but anything besides rap and country music can be good.

food: Sushi, Asian, Italian, Mexican, American, I like all types ill try almost anything once, because even the weirdest things can surprise you with good flavors

The six things I could never do without

bed: because i like sleep even though i stay up till the wee hours of the morning
shower: i like being clean its one of those nice feeling
kitchen: i like to cook and i like food so if i didn't have one i don't know what I would do
tv: Not tv itself mine serves as a big monitor for my computer which i watch movies and other stuff on
computer: the portal to the digital word and how i talk to old friends and new ones
cell phone: without it i couldn't contact anyone on the go and that's no good

I spend a lot of time thinking about

life in general like where i want to go and where i have been, people I've meet, things i need to get done, random thoughts of hilarity, or things as insightful as where are we going as people and what will lead us there.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

i hurt my knee when i was ski racing in high school. It was so bad i couldn't walk right for 6 months, also i did all of the rehab myself and taught myself to walk right again.
