My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Arts Admin freak, the "dream job" I was working for the past year and a half vaporized out from under me as the organization folded. So i've moved back to Indiana to get my bearings and help my folks fix their house as I look to take my next steps into the weird world of working at arts organizations.

I really don't know how to describe myself... I'm a smart, hardworking guy with a kind and good- hearted side. I am a great cook, I enjoy a good book and drive a decent size pick-up. I have tried the dating thing for a while, and have been kinda disappointed with whats out there. Hoping to change that and really just want to enjoy life to its fullest.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After 9 or so years drifting aimlessly through the annals of arts organizations from Boston to Minnesota, Buffalo and Pittsburgh, I'm now working to take my next step.

Somehow I seem to keep finding myself working at sculpture parks on the edge of humanity that are regularly buried under a few feet of snow. Not sure why, but I'm hoping to change that.

When I'm not doing graphic design, consultation work, giving guided tours or chopping trees up with a chainsaw I'm... hmm. Sleeping? Looking to remedy that with a few nights out every now and again with some new interesting people.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Building/making/fixing things with my hands
-Cooking pretty much anything
-Writing and editing, but not spelling
-Riding my bike...

Ok now I sound like I'm 5 so I'm going to stop.

my eyes? my hair? I don't know they usually are looking at my face, so something around that general vicinity.

Books: Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction by Benjamin, Pattern Recognition by Gibson, Valis by PK Dick, Art as Experience by Dewey, there's too many to list here.. I'm trying to read Godel Escher Bach but it's taking a bit to really get into it. I read some Cory Doctorow books that made me simultaneously paranoid and excited about the internet.

Music: Sonic Youth, Iggy Pop, MGMT, Battles, Black Keys, The Clash, The Kinks, Animal Collective, Shirley Ellis, Santogold, Van Morrison, Neil Diamond, Rod Stuart, MC5, The Damned, Patti Smith, Mos Def, Rolling Stones, T-Rex, Taj Mahal, Thin Lizzy, Dead Kennedys, Richard Hell, Black Flag, Gang of Four, Captain Beefheart, Woodie Guthrie, the Descendants, David Byrne, ELO, Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, M.Ward, No Age, Public Enemy, Neutral Milk Hotel, Rush, Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs, The Damned, LCD Soundsystem, Mojo Nixon. I found a mix online of Ghostface with vintage african funk that's been on heavy rotation. And I've been listening to "forever in blue jeans" a lot for some reason.

Food: I like a lot of stuff, I'm not picky... as long as it's good. I miss good indian food, and vietnamese... and soup dumplings. I miss those.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My bike, the internets, sunglasses, contacts/regular glasses, something important to work on, my camera, and um....all my teeth.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the hell did I do to get that bruise, and where did I put that to-do list.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I haven't had a typical Friday night since 1984.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm drawing a blank here.

If you're into guys who were born on friday the 13th... or.... if you're bored and think it'd be fun to stalk someone you don't know over the internet.

Honestly it'd be cool to meet someone who would want to go to some openings, a gallery crawl, or just run around and end up at a decent place to eat.

Things have changed so much around Indy that I don't really know where to go to have adventures or even get a good bite to eat, so if you're down with showing someone around, Hit me up.
