Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm finally getting acclimated to my new job and new place. I'm
making an effort to meet new people and still looking for good
places to get drinks and food.
I'm not quite sure how to best describe myself... I'm a smart,
hardworking guy with a kind and good- hearted side. I am a great
cook, I enjoy reading and working with my hands and have a decent
collection of esoteric and weird crap like Pulp detective novels
from the 60's. I used to live in Boston a few years ago and am
looking forward to continuing to explore the city... I really just
want to enjoy life to its fullest at this point and I'm looking for
partners in crime and someone to go to art openings with.
I'm into art in spite of the fact that I haven't made any of my own
in over a year... Work and other things tend to get in the way from
time to time. Luckily I work at a University Art Center so I get my
fix at work.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After 9 or so years drifting aimlessly through the annals of arts
organizations from Boston to Minnesota, Buffalo and Pittsburgh, I'm
now working at a university art center here in Boston.
Between work, work, and avoiding eye contact on the T, I've been
exploring the city bit by bit. I've really gotten into my new job
but it would be nice to hang out with people I don't work with
every once in a while.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Building/making/fixing things with my hands
-Cooking pretty much anything
-Writing and editing, but not spelling
-Riding my bike...
Ok now I sound like I'm 5 so I'm going to stop.

my eyes? my hair? I don't know they usually are looking at my face,
so something around that general vicinity.

Too many books and music to list here.. I'm still trying to read
Godel Escher Bach but it's taking a bit to really get into it and
it's a bit big to read on the train. I have a copy of Master and
Margarita around here somewhere that is on my list to read.
I listen to a bunch of weird music, from 70's pre-post punk to
Northern Soul, retro-futuristic french music from the 60's... I've
been listening to "Vitamin C" by Can and "Obvious Child" by Paul
Simon a lot recently, that and a band called Sylvan Esso. It's good
I'm on a train and half awake going to work music.
I'll pirate television on the internet occasionally. I'll have a
house of cards marathon and loose a weekend, or during the awful
snowstorm I remember watching Deadwood in it's entirety and wishing
I could swear like AL.
Food: I like a lot of stuff, I'm not picky... as long as it's good.
I miss good indian food, and vietnamese... and soup dumplings. And
I really want a good reuben right now.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My bike, the internets, sunglasses, contacts/regular glasses,
something important to work on, my camera, and um....all my teeth.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the hell did I do to get that bruise, and where did I put that
to-do list. I've also moved around so much in the past couple of
years that I am frequently wondering how I fit into this new city.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Recently I've been meeting new people through work and going to art
openings and bars and whatnot... but in all honesty I'm still
looking for a sense of "typical." Routine has not really set in at
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I brush my teeth with hot water because of a Kurt Vonnegut book.

If you're into guys who were born on friday the 13th... or.... if
you're bored and think it'd be fun to stalk someone you don't know
over the internet.
Honestly it'd be cool to meet someone who would want to go to some
openings, a gallery crawl, or just run around and end up at a
decent place to eat.
I don't really know where to go to have adventures or even get a
good bite to eat, so if you're down with showing someone around,
